★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1All the positive comments prepared me for a great meal. I enjoyed the dishes and appreciated the waiters. Excellent flavors and reasonable charges for the amount provided. Most notably, the team shows authentic warmth. My next trip here will include this restaurant.
August 04 · Elsa BennettI ordered a fish dinner plate, plus a side of macaroni & fried chicken. The macaroni & cheese is Overly seasoned. If im not mistaken the macaroni taste like they use the same seasonings as the fried chicken. The fried chicken looked & tasted old & Dry & Burnt. I paid $6 for a leg quarter that I was highly disappointed in. I came to this restaurant twice and I will never be stepping foot in here again, I do Not recommend.
July 13 · DeeI got there this afternoon and waited more than 5 minutes to be greeted. There was 1 other customer and she ordered b4 I came in. The light skinned dude was fixing the plates with one glove. Mind u he took the time to answer the businesses phone and still didn't greet me. When he decide he would he was pleasant and had a sense of humor. This is when thing began to turn. An older man, I. Talkin salt and pepper hair older came from the back to drop off a dish. He kept peeking around the corner looking at me to see if I was lookin @ him, that's what made me keep a low eye on him. By this time I was trying to set up my camera. Before I could set it up, he took some mac & cheese from the pan on the side with his bare hand. I swear he did, in the photo u can see him focused on it, it must have hit the spot. If they have cameras over there rewind them. I was totally grossed out, as that's what I really wanted to try. I skipped over that. The bananas in the pudding was old, i can tell because the cookies were soggy and the bananas were brown. Through the container you could see the banas were brown. Why would he even give me that? Poor service! On a Monday afternoon i was not expecting old anything. The collards had a acidic taste, the mashed potatoes had way too much garlic. The baked chicken had no flavor, but there was plenty, more than expected. I put some lemon and salt on it and it was a go. I will not be returning due to that old man puttin his hands in the food amd the old banana pudding. I would have given the place another shot on another dish but that old dude was too much. Y'all be careful, just because it's served by us doesn't mean they care about us!
December 16 · Ashante JWas beyond excited to be in Harlem to get real food as we have nothing where I live. This place was on my way back towards the train. I ordered via telephone. Saved my food for when I got home. I was so sad to find everything was super salty. I was very disappointed. Prices were reasonable.
August 09 · La LynkI ordered from them for the 1st time earlier last week. My order consisted of Oxtails with a side of Mac and Cheese and Cabbage. From the main course to the sides, everything was cooked to perfection. With that written, the only thing preventing me from awarding Nadia’s Soul Food a full 5 stars is, like far too many businesses these days, they DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE. I called the business several times to ask if their collard greens had either pork (which I do not eat) or beef in it, but nobody would answer the phone. What is the point of including a phone number on your website/Google page if nobody at the business uses it? I realize that it’s 2025 and food delivery apps rule the day, but there are still some of us who would prefer to speak to a flesh-and-blood human being prior to placing a specific order.Overall, amazing food from a good business that would be better if the phone was answered more consistently.
