★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Loved the food!!! Everything tasted amazing & the vibe was so chill. I loved the mini octopus dish personally but mostly filled with vegetables. If you like lamb, you must try the galbi dish from the shared menu. The yogurt drink tasted like a lil dessert!
July 22 · Katieee BaeI tried some new dishes for the first time and it turned out to be such a great experience. I always love discovering new flavors, and everything I ordered was not only delicious but also really well-prepared. You can tell a lot of thought goes into the food here.I’m already looking forward to coming back — there’s so much more I want to try. If you enjoy good food and love exploring new tastes like I do, this place won’t disappoint
June 28 · Elise WhitmoreAfter this heavenly experience, fried chicken will never be the same for me.I'm someone who likes her fried chicken in the middle of to buns (don't judge me, I just thought it was better). But after trying this friend chicken by itself, I realized maybe I've never had proper fried chicken. We tried a couple things from the menu and don't get me wrong, they were all delicious, but there's a reason why this place is famous for the full fried chicken they serve.Definitely stop by Osamil if you're in New York and don't think twice before ordering the fried chicken, you'll look back and say: that crazy lady from google maps was right.
August 12 · Laura CapovillaI went to Osamil in Korea Town NYC on a Monday night for a birthday dinner right after work. It was a bit slow but to be fair, it was early on a Monday night so I can’t really comment on atmosphere. The host seated us in an intimate cute wooden booth big enough for 3-4 people. The food and service were outstanding. The endive and pear salad was delicious but the chicken wings, short rib skewers and kimchee fried rice are the things that dreams are made of. You will not find an extensive non Korean wine list here. But you will find an array of creative cocktails with a Korean flair. I was a bit disappointed that desserts are not on the menu because we were celebrating a birthday but other than that I would 100% recommend for dinner and drinks. The table seating is limited to 90 minutes but they were not rushing us out the door which I appreciated.
March 08 · Jae JaeMy first time dining at Osamil and my waiter was very kind and took the time to explain the menu and drinks. The food arrived in a timely manner and was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect for hanging out with friends. Would love to come again next time I'm in New York.
