Overall, I would give the experience a solid four stars, with breakfast significantly outshining dinner.Let’s start with the birthday dinner, which unfortunately left a lot to be desired. I had noted in advance that it was my birthday, and while the staff acknowledged it with a quick “Happy Birthday,” there was no extra gesture—no complimentary dessert, no celebratory touch, not even particularly attentive service. My water glass sat empty for long stretches, and I was seated near the back door, which repeatedly slammed throughout the meal, creating a disruptive dining experience. It was disappointing, especially for a birthday dinner at a restaurant in a five-star hotel. Maybe it was an off night, but the overall feel was more three-star than luxury.However, the breakfast service was a completely different story—and a bright spot in my stay. I had a generous $120 breakfast credit per day, and I managed to use every penny of the $360 total over three days. The American breakfast is priced at $48, and extras like avocado toast ($33) and sides added up quickly. If I had been paying out-of-pocket, I honestly might have skipped breakfast entirely—the pricing is steep. But with the credit, it was convenient and relaxing, and each morning the service was genuinely five-star. The servers were warm, attentive, and professional across the board.A side note: I later learned that I was only supposed to receive $60 per day as a solo guest, but because an employee had previously told me it was $120, the hotel graciously honored the full credit. That gesture definitely left a positive impression.There is a mandatory 18% gratuity for breakfast.In summary: Breakfast at Perrine is polished and pleasant if you’re not watching your budget too closely. Dinner, at least in my experience, fell far short of expectations—especially for a special occasion. I’d return for the convenience of breakfast, but I’d think twice about dining here again for dinner unless I hear the experience has improved.
April 02 · Kelly CambridgeportWent on a whim with my Mom for lunch and we had the best experience.The service was welcoming, funny, warm, helpful and fast.The food was excellent - top quality ingredients with perfect flavors and technique.We loved the endive salad with shrimp and the tuna tartar which was prepared with haricot vert, tiny potato chips and a mustard sauce - like a steak tartar and more imaginative than the usual Asian inspired tartare. So happy!!!

The food and wine is 10/10 but the staff, the staff is what made my night amazing! Victor is the most amazing waiter I have ever encountered. He is warmed, welcoming and extremely sweet. I wish I caught the doorman and other staff members names but they made the entire night magnificent. I did not want the night to end. I felt like a Disney princess the entire night. Thank you so much again for everything !
December 02 · Nicole CanaiiThe pictures are misleading. Lots of people post pics of the atrium (room with blue sky painting), but it’s not always available for dining in. The main dining area has low ceiling, and like a hallway. Not a great atmosphere. The food is incredibly overpriced while leaving a lot to be desired. I don’t mind paying $70+ for an entree but I expect it to be good… not tiny portions and incredibly lacking in flavor. I don’t understand why they’re rated so highly. There are thousands of better high end restaurants in the city, hundreds in the area rated better. I think the only people who rated this place highly are tourists 😂
