I finally popped in here after seeing them at various locations throughout the city.After rolling into Penn Station after a day at the beach we decided to finally try Pollo Campero... and we were very pleasantly surprised.We ordered the Campero box which was had a spicy chicken sandwich, yucca fries and a great Horchata and the three piece meal. You have the option of fried or grilled chicken which was great.The staff for super super friendly and the food was really really good... so good that I wound up going two additional times last week!

This is my second time at this location; the first time, I tried the two piece and it was okay. Nothing special. However, the Campero box is very filling and affordable. It comes with a chicken sandwich, 4-piece nuggets, fries, and drink of your choice (Mango!). I'd definitely come again and share the box meal with a friend instead.

I recently visited Pollo Campero and had a great experience. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of flavor. The sides, especially the plantains and Campero beans, were delicious and freshly made. The staff was friendly and quick, and the place was clean and comfortable. It’s definitely a great spot if you’re craving Latin-style fried chicken. I’ll be coming back for sure!
