When you visit Reichenbach Hall, you're not just getting a meal; you're getting an experience rooted in German tradition. The menu is full of delicious options, but a few items are particularly worth choosing. The "Uber Pretzel" is a must-try. This massive, soft Bavarian pretzel is perfect for sharing and pairs wonderfully with a cold beer. Another fan favorite is the "Currywurst Mit Pommes Frites," a Berlin street food classic that features sliced bratwurst smothered in a tangy curry-ketchup sauce, served with crispy fries. It's a flavorful and authentic dish that you'll want to try.
For a main course, the schnitzels are highly recommended. You can choose from classic options like the "Chicken Schnitzel Plate" or the "Jaeger Schnitzel" topped with a rich mushroom sauce. The Schnitzel is consistently praised for being golden, crispy, and tender, a true taste of Germany. The "Wurst Platten," or sausage plates, are also an excellent choice for groups. You can sample a variety of traditional sausages, including bratwurst, bauernwurst, and kielbasa, all served with classic German sides like potato salad and sauerkraut. For dessert, don't miss the "Apfelstrudel" or the "Black Forest Cake" to round out your meal. Finally, and most importantly, the beer selection is a highlight. Don't be afraid to ask for recommendations on an imported German brew to pair with your food. The combination of incredible food, a wide-ranging beer menu, and a lively, social atmosphere makes Reichenbach Hall a standout destination in New York City.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Great place to get beers, wings, and pretzels (also other food) but I enjoy these. Atmosphere and service is always great. Staff is outgoing and friendly. Great games and music. A must if you're in the midtown area in NYC.
August 19 · Walter GarciaCame here 3 times during our stay in NYC, lovely staff, quick service and nice food and drinks. Reasonably priced for what it is.Always made to feel welcome and staff happy to help with questions.Would recommend!
July 13 · Matthew RutterBig, bold, and Bavarian. Reichenbach Hall delivers exactly what you’d expect from a German beer hall in Midtown—long wooden tables, beer steins, and sauerkraut-scented warmth. I ordered the bratwurst and it was excellent: juicy, flavorful, and generously piled over sauerkraut and potatoes. But the real highlight was Rudy—the impeccably dressed waiter and bartender with an Asian face and a calm German accent. He mentioned he spent most of his life in Germany, and it shows in his thoughtful manner and precise service. He doesn’t push you to buy anything, instead asking if you’re hungry and then recommending dishes by portion size. He’s attentive but never intrusive, always checking in with care. One of the kindest and most detailed servers I’ve encountered in the city.
May 19 · Yunong ShiOur food was amazing. The potato pancakes were crisp and delicious without being overly greasy. My mom and I split the platter and with the app it was plenty for two people. The apple strudel is an absolute must. Our server was Amanda W. and she was so sweet and made our experience even better. Will definitely be back next time we come to NYC.
