★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The menu is broadly Asian. Did not try the house special Cantonese clay pot, but everything we tried was great. Taiwanese fried chicken (ordered a second), Malaysian chicken curry, Thai pork jowl and Japanese onigiri.Service was great, food was great. Lighting was a little bright for dinner. It’s BYOB. Great cozy spot in the East Village, I look forward to being a regular.
February 15 · Darren KawaThis isn't my review for the restaurant itself; I will be doing that later. Instead, this is a review for the Too Good To Go app. I paid only $10 for food that would typically cost around $30. Honestly, while it may not feel like a full $30 worth, I would estimate it was about $25 in value. The food was good, and it came with a cup of milk and coffee. However, I found the food a bit bland. Since it's a surprise bag, the contents can vary, so a little bit of added salt would have helped enhance the flavors. The two onigiri pieces were actually delicious, so I would definitely recommend checking them out. Overall, I would rate Too Good To Go a 3.8, but personally, I would give it a 3.4
March 30 · williams perezThe choices are limited. No veggies choices. That’s not good as for Chinese restaurant. And we called to order clay pot, asked for recommendations. The staff seemed she didn’t know what was good for it. But when we came for dine in. The menu did have the recommended clay pot serving 6 kinds of meet in one clay plot. Don’t know if the staff was new or she also didn’t think their recommendation was good enough to introduce. Also the staff didn’t asked if we wanted to pick up or dine in but just packed our food🤣Only 1 table of customers there when we were in during dinner time. 3 pickup orders but only 2 came to get the food. The taste is just about average, cannot compare to the traditional clay pot I have tried before in China.
January 01 · Melody LeeFriendly staff and great food. I ordered the Peking duck handroll, spicy pork belly handroll and broiled eel handroll. All of them are great, but my favorite is the Peking duck.
June 14 · Kennino HTasty and affordable spot for Cantonese claypot rice dishes, offering a wide variety of flavorful options. The portions are very generous, ensuring you leave satisfied after the meal. It's an ideal spot for NYU students looking for a budget-friendly and delicious dining option. For more NYC food reviews, check out my IG @yangnhungry.
