This is a classic New York restaurant that closed during covid and reopened in a new space in the LES retaining its old world quirky charm. The live music hasn't changed, nor has the food. The Friday night prix fixe was delicious. There is still a container of chicken fat on every table and you can order a bottle of Vodka that comes in a block of ice with cranberry juice and soda on the side. The chopped liver is still delicious and the steak was perfect. Not a place for vegetarians at all but if you are a meat eater who loves Jewish style food this place is a must. Finish your meal with a perfect egg cream. - Michael Lehrman
