★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I visited this restaurant for a repast in honor of a loved one who passed away, and the experience was truly memorable. The food was exceptional—authentic Dominican cuisine with a unique twist that made every dish stand out.Anthony, our waiter, provided outstanding service alongside his colleague, ensuring that everything was smooth and welcoming. Their attentiveness and kindness made a difficult time feel a little lighter, and I deeply appreciate their efforts. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning. Thank you, Anthony, and thank you to the team for making this moment special despite the circumstances. The dress code is casual.
May 27 · Che CaraballoWe had an amazing experience at this restaurant while celebrating a colleague’s birthday! The rabo was absolutely exquisite—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The churrasco was incredibly tender, melting in your mouth with every bite. On top of that, the unlimited mimosas were the cherry on top, keeping the celebration flowing and fun.The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere made us feel right at home. I’m already planning to come back with more friends and family. I highly recommend this place to everyone—you won't be disappointed!
June 08 · Diana KenkolaukisCame here to celebrate a friend’s 40th birthday, we had a great time. The food was delicious, the staff was awesome and the music was great!! This place might be a little small but the decorations are beautiful and the size makes it feel very welcoming. There’s barely a bar and due to the size of the place once it got packed it felt hot. We ordered from the pre-fix menu which included a house salad, pastelitos to share with the table and a choice of a main dish. I decided to go with the coconut rice & beef stew with maduros on the side it did not disappoint. My husband ordered the pernil and yellow rice. He also found his plate to be very tasteful.
July 14 · Lil MateoThe atmosphere is fun and lively, but this place’s potential was overshadowed by the its failures. The staff was neglectful and spent more time enjoying themselves or chatting with friends rather than attending guests. It took 8 minutes for us to be recognized as clients while we waited at the door. Once seated, we then waited another 20+ minutes to be acknowledged. Aside from that, I had the sea food platter, terrible idea. The calamari tasted as if it was fried 2 days prior and the shrimps were tasteless. The batter was heavy and lacked seasoning. My partner had the chicken soup and it tasted worst, salty and the meat tasted over cooked. All in all the concept is solid but this places potential but requires a great deal of work in order for me to return.
June 08 · Steven HowardI recently attended a friend’s birthday celebration at Santiago’s Beer Garden in NYC, and I was blown away by the entire experience. We had the back area reserved, and let me just say—the space is beautifully decorated with flowers everywhere, creating such a fun and charming atmosphere. It was giving “tropical garden party” in the best way.We had an open bar along with appetizers and dinner, and everything was honestly a 10 out of 10. The food was incredible—super flavorful, fresh, and beautifully plated (check out my pics!). I ordered the steak and shrimp entrée, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and seasoned. I also tried a friend’s coconut rice, and now I’m lowkey mad I didn’t order a side of it too—so good.Shout out to Anthony, who was our server—he was amazing! The entire staff was attentive, friendly, and fast, which really helped make the night feel effortless.Whether you’re planning an event or just looking for great food in a great vibe, I highly recommend checking this place out. It’s definitely a hidden gem worth visiting in NYC.
