Located at 3000 Centerpoint Dr, this restaurant is part of a brand with a long history, tracing its roots back to 1956 when the Sbarro family opened their first salumeria in Brooklyn, New York. Over the decades, Sbarro has become synonymous with quick-service Italian food, especially its iconic pizza sold by the slice. Sbarro's business model is built on convenience, with many of its locations found in food courts and commercial centers. The Urbancrest location aims to serve a clientele that values speed and accessibility. The menu is centered on classic Italian-American dishes, from hand-stretched pizzas to strombolis, pastas, and breadsticks. The company prides itself on using fresh ingredients, including a San Marzano-style tomato sauce and 100% whole milk mozzarella. It is important to note that customer experiences can be varied, and feedback from real customers provides a useful, if sometimes critical, perspective. Some reviews for this location highlight frustrating experiences with service and food quality. One customer described an issue with payment, feeling inconvenienced by being required to make a separate transaction for their pizza, which led to a vow never to return. Another customer detailed a disappointing and expensive experience with a pickup order, noting that their pizza and stromboli were not fresh, and appeared to have been reheated, leading to a "dried up" and "petrified" meal. These instances of negative feedback, while not ideal, can be valuable for both the business and potential customers. They highlight the importance of service consistency and food temperature, particularly during busy times. While Sbarro's goal is to provide fresh and hot food, these reviews show that, like any business, there can be times when the execution falls short. The overall rating for the location, however, suggests that these experiences may not be the norm, and many customers have a positive opinion of the food and service.

Sbarro Reviews
Was told I had to pay for my pizza at Sbarro and couldn't pay at the counter with my other items. The other locations let people do it. I'll never step foot back in any of them over this. It is like they would rather inconvenience the customer rather than so their job. I'm not making 2 transactions when it's not needed. Thanks for ruining my lunch
Apr 23, 2025 · jimmy HI ordered this pizza from the parking lot of the location...it was during a Friday night snowstorm....I was told in app 33mins....I sat in my car and waited, because its expensive compared to other pizza within a mile of this location..I had my pizza bag all ready and live to the location..I wanted this pizza as fresh and hot as possible....I went into the store 13 min before my pickup time....my Stromboli and meat ball were sitting in a bag on the counter. Not a chance of staying hot...or even close to the proper Haccp temp of 140°..(OK, FULL DISCLOSURE NO RESTURANT CONSIDERED FAST FOOD EVEN COMES CLOSE....but not even warm at very least...my pizza was already sitting boxed up on top of the oven...straight to the pizza bag in the car...under 2 miles home.....got home and it was beyond disappointing....pizza was already dried up....I ordered and paid for 2 Meatballs in SAUCE...I got 1 dried no sauce meatball....my Stromboli was not even lukewarm and dried beyond belief....$32...thrown down the drain....this pizza HAD TO BE already cooked, cooled and reheated....same with the StromboliThe Stromboli I can understand, but not petrified dry....where the meat pulls apart like petrified grisle....pizza dough was under cooked, doughy and stuck to the box....with toppings trying to cover the holes in the dough....A total waste of $32
Jan 11, 2025 · Joel JonesIf I recall they used to have a storefront on 62/3 now a they are in the gas station across the freeway way. They shorted me my wings and the cheese bread was under cooked dough.
Apr 13, 2025 · Robert BrakeThe pizza is actually good. I'm from New York and it's very close to New York pizza. If they had a brick oven or even a real oven and Not that toaster oven that they use, then it would be perfect 👌🏾.
Feb 19, 2025 · Syron JohnsonAlways hit and miss. One day I got a slice fresh from the oven and it was fantastic. The next time it's super soggy. A little spendy for left over pizza. How do they get away with not having heat lamps? Note the flies on the supreme slice which I really wanted, so I had to wait for the next pie to come out fresh which was pepperoni.. It was too salty. Ordering a whole pizza is the way to go, except I don't want that much.
