★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My sister and I went for dinner. We were looking for something with a convenient location and a bit different than what we usually do (Persian Restaurant). We shared a few appetizers and one entree (Lamb Shank). The "Olivieh" is the one we liked the most, but all 3 were good. The pita bread was really good, one of the best I have had in a while. We shared the "Prommagrade Sorbet" as dessert. Very refreshing and taste (no dairy option)
June 01 · Carlos Vivas AugierThis is one of my favorite restaurants in New York. I’ve been to both locations, and the excellence are consistent between the two: the ingredients are pure & high-quality; the recipes are warm & story worthy; & the hospitality always exceeds my high expectation. Must try: the yogurt with pita, and as simple as it sounds, it’s incredible. That alone sat the stage to my meal to come. The refreshing complement side of the fresh medley of almonds, mint, tarragon, and basil was a thoughtful and fresh way to compliment the meaty dishes. Try the rice! I can go on & on about the food but simply said, “I am a huge fan”.
March 05 · WeiI want to share my experience with Shiraz Restaurant – we’re a tech company, and we wanted delicious Persian food for a lunch for our employees. It was their first time trying Persian food, and everyone absolutely loved it! The food was tasty, fresh, and arrived hot in large portions. The employees asked for the restaurant’s details because they’re definitely going to visit again with friends and family.I’m very, very happy that I made the order through the restaurant. The team is amazing, and you can definitely count on them! I have no doubt this won’t be the last time I order from there. It was an amazing experience!
March 27 · Aviv CohenI enjoyed dining here! The food was a modern fusion of classic Persian food. The wait time for food was long but everything else was very nice.I recommend the pomegranate chicken!
July 21 · Azin SaberiThe saffron chicken kabob was tender and juicy, infused with a rich, aromatic flavor that truly elevated the dish.As for the beef kebab, they were grilled to perfection. The meat was succulent and well-seasoned, with a lovely char that enhanced the overall taste. The zucchini was lightly seasoned and cooked just right. Basmati rice was cooked perfectly and was a perfect side dish.To top it all off, we indulged in some creative cocktails that were both refreshing and delicious. However! Even though I made a reservation and we were the only customers at the time we came in, so there were PLENTY of tables to be seated. We got placed at the table by the window, which seemed really nice at the beginning. But not even one hour in our dining experience, we felt being rushed by the staff. Even they were super nice, they were "checking" on us every 5 min. The tables around us were constantly moved to make the space for musicians who started to come in for their performance, which was supposed to take place at the area where we got sitted, I assume. Nobody came to us asking if we wanted to change a table, we just felt like we were bothering the staff and musicians with our presence. Well, sorry that the hostess did a poor job, I guess 😁The food was divine, but removing one star for the table mess up.
