★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1To be fair, I’m not Vegan. Still I had tasty vegan food before, and what I ate here didn’t hit the mark for me. Their cauliflower wings was more like cauliflower-cauliflower. No crunchy crust, just seasoned cauliflower. And becareful as you eat their mofungoguito whatever. Don’t spill the toppings all over yourself as you attempt to bite into the hard plantain shell
August 15 · BellisimaThe drinks were really good. Service was great. The mushroom burger was cool. It was more of a challenge for me to order because I don't eat soy or nuts and most items contain one or the other. I even had to have my burger altered so I don't feel I got the full experience. Sucks for me.
February 11 · Jo AtfoVegans, rejoice! The food at Vegan Factory is amazing. This is one of my favorite places to eat in the Bronx. This restaurant is a unique and special place. It stands out for it's creative vegan recipes. I have not seen any restaurant like it anywhere in the Bronx. Since there is no meat in any of the dishes they serve, it is necessary to reinvent classic dishes. That is exactly what The Vegan Factory has done. The restaurant has a playful green and pink theme which sets a fun, inviting mood. It was a take-out place but now there are chairs and tables so people sit down to eat. The chairs are super cool! They are a green color, very comfortable, and have a smooth velvety texture.I decided to eat nachos. This delicious dish is made up of tortilla chips, quinoa-beef, beans, pico de gallo, salsa, etc. Using quinoa to replace meat worked well because combinations of flavors were great.I also had the vegan cuban sandwich. It was quite tasty with the mushrooms and seitan bacon. The flavor is as close as you will get to a Cuban sandwich without the meat. The empanadas are a breath of fresh air because they are not the typical greasy meat-filled empanadas you find in other restaurants. I tried a plantain empanada and a quinoa, cranberry empanada. The empanadas have a delicate flaky crust, both empanadas were excellent. On another visit I had the BBQ Pull "Pork" Sandwich which is pulled jackfruit with BBQ sauce. This jackfruit looks and tastes just like real meat with the BBQ flavor. On a recent visit I had the "Bacon" Cheddar Burger, which is a homemade pattie black bean & rice. It looked just like a burger and had a very pleasant bean flavor.Don't miss out on this place. Your taste buds will thank you!
May 25 · brandon wallaceFirst of all , the place looks very nice in n out second of all Once I seen little abuela walking to the back I knew the food was gonna be good just based off the smell and sure enough when I tasted it hit just like my mom cooked it when I put it in the air fryer for work at lunch the next day lol. TheStaff is very friendly and knowledgeable on veganism and culture. The food came out fast and fresh. We should push forb 5 stars and I wish this place luck and blessings in growth 🙏🏽🧡🌄🥪
November 22 · Chy BoogieThe chimi sandwich was incredible—the toasted bread was perfectly crisp, and the bean patty was packed with flavor. The sauce was delicious; I just wish I had extra on the side for dipping. The juice was refreshing and clearly made with natural, authentic ingredients. The empanadas were crispy on the outside and filled generously. Thank you for providing a healthy option that doesn’t compromise on flavor or love!
