Given the provided information and customer reviews, it is important to provide a balanced perspective on what is worth choosing at Tony Farm's Market. The customer feedback is highly critical, with both reviews using the same language to describe the experience as "incredibly disappointing" with "awful service and food quality." This feedback from multiple customers suggests a significant area of concern. The reviewers also comment on the lack of a "respectable place" that locals would "actually want to go to," which indicates that the establishment may not meet the quality standards that are expected in a competitive New York food market.
However, the value of any business lies in what it offers to its customers, and Tony Farm's Market's offerings, despite the negative reviews, are focused on a specific niche. For someone in the immediate vicinity who is looking for the fastest possible meal without much fuss, a deli or sandwich shop can be a lifeline. The core offerings, as defined by the "sandwich shop" and "comfort food" categories, are what a customer is coming for. If the need is simply for a quick, uncomplicated bite, and no other options are readily available, a place like this serves a basic need. The accessibility of the location, including the wheelchair-accessible entrance, and the options for delivery and takeout are all practical features that a customer might value in a pinch.
It is important for a potential customer to manage their expectations when considering a visit. The reviews suggest that one should not expect a high-quality, memorable culinary experience. Instead, the value lies in the convenience. For a person who just needs a quick sandwich and is not concerned with the atmosphere or gourmet quality, this place provides a straightforward transaction. The fact that it is "good for kids" also indicates that the menu likely includes simple, familiar items that appeal to a younger audience, making it a simple stop for families. The payment options, including credit and debit cards, further add to the convenience factor.
In conclusion, what is worth choosing at Tony Farm's Market is its convenience and functionality. It is a quick-service, casual establishment that focuses on providing a fast and easy meal. While the customer reviews point to significant issues with food and service quality, the shop’s primary purpose as a quick-bite deli remains. For those who prioritize speed and a simple meal over a high-quality dining experience, Tony Farm's Market serves a specific purpose in the neighborhood. The best way to approach a visit is to see it as a functional solution for a fast lunch, rather than a destination for a gourmet meal.

April 08 · Emma CreightonIf I could give less I would- Horrible horrible customer service . I bought a few things from there but one of the items I found to be cheaper somewhere else so I came back the next day to see if I could return it . It was a sealed container and I ask politely if I could return it, the cashier asked me if something was wrong with it and I said no just that I found it cheaper somewhere else . She got so mad at me and started yelling and slammed the money on the counter continuing raise her voice and insult me. I wasn’t rude and a simple no we don’t do returns would have been enough. Will never come back to shop here and would highly not recommend!

December 15 · Danielle LoaizaI stopped by to pick up a sandwich, but I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of flowers and bouquets. I decided to buy some and they were very fresh and lasted a long time. Will come back for more flowers!

October 13 · KevinWas there last night with the wife around 11pm. There was one worker in the front, one in the back and no one wanted to help me. I waited 10 minutes to see if anyone would ask what I needed and they never did. When I asked one of the guys to help me out he didn't want to because he said he was eating, so then I asked the other guy and he said he couldn't because he had to stay up front. So how exactly does that work? I have lived 2 blocks away from this deli for almost 7 years now and was extremely disgusted with last night and WILL NEVER GO BACK! I suggest you all do the same. (Zero stars if possible)
