★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Vegetarian friendly!! Excelente!! I was working a pop up experience nearby, on a cold winter day, craving delicious authentic tacos. This little taco stand was recommended so I decided to try it. The gentleman cooking was super friendly. I let him know I am a vegetarian and wanted corn tortillas, not flour (for the gringos). He surprised me with their extra large corn tortilla (burritos are typically made Rita flour) for the burrito and filled it with black beans, mushrooms, rice, tomato, onion, lettuce, bell pepper and a very good spicy red and a green salsa. Super good and huge!! Honestly, one of the best corn tortilla burritos I’ve had and all for $10. Highly recommend sub Pedacito de Mexico!!! Gracias!!
December 15 · denise h.tiny Mexican food cart parked on Park Avenue South, near the corner of 17th Street. the cart is there most days from lunchtime to early nighttime. cart looks pretty clean. there are variety of comfort eats served up from tacos and burritos to cemitas, huarache, and chalupas. it's a one-person cart so there might be a little wait if there's a line. stopped by here for a burrito and it was pretty satisfying. went with the spicy pork with everything. the burritos are made from scratch. the pork is cooked on the grill (it is not precooked) so the flavors really come through as fresh. there's veggies, cheese, and cream which had to the texture and flavor. the burrito were superstuffed and overflowing. a bit too much rice in the burrito which is why it is a bit overstuffed. but the rice tastes fine...the overflow of rice just sorta detracts from the spicy pork. overall, this is a well-made burrito that has that home -cooking charm. spicy pork burrito, $9 + tip the grill lady was really nice and courteous. you can order for pickup. cash only.
September 26 · Ruwan J.Low quality meat for bistec tacos , I had to spit out a lot of cartilage . Also , they don't really condiment it, so it's quite bland.I was looking forward to the salsa verde , since I asked for it, but unfortunately they only include 1 small plastic thimble HALF EMPTY.To add insults to injury, it is very expensive for a food cart. I can get cheaper tacos at a sit down restaurant. Why do you charge so much? How much do you pay rent?Come one guys , stop being so money hungry
