Service was excellent! An excited employee was happy to take my order and let me try samples. The soups are awesome. He gave me a sample of alligator gumbo, tasted pretty good! He was very warm and inviting so I appreciated that. Will make sure to stop back soon for more.
Apr 24, 2024 · Collin MarshallI haven’t had Zoup in years, I used to go to the Maumee OH location a lot. I remembered the Lobster Bisque being really good so I was excited to DoorDash this on a rainy day for my son and I. The honest truth is it does not taste like I remember. Just ok and not delicious. There was like lumps of “cream” in the soup like it hadn’t been heated enough or stirred well. That was very unappetizing. My sandwich was sloppy and soggy but the taste was good.
Mar 15, 2024 · Brhiannon CopemanFirst time trying Zoup! We actually meant to go to Café Zupas (also at Easton) but Siri had other plans. We both ordered the Pick 2 option. I had the Spicy Black bean Chili with a Cali Chicken sandwich. We each also ordered a fountain drink since we were going to eat there before shopping.A few things…The food: It was just okay. Not good, just okay. My sandwich was needlessly messy. Just put avocado slices on, what’s the point of the mush? My spouse didn’t finish their Italian. Both sandwiches seemed like they were missing ingredients that would have given them the kick they needed to be good (especially for the price… more on that). The experience: The wait wasn’t long and the cashier was friendly. Every table in the restaurant was dirty. Not just looks dirty, but had food crumbs on the tables and chairs that had to be wiped off. However, they don’t even let you grab napkins so you either sit in crumbs or have use the two tiny napkins they give you to clean up the mess. Finally…The price: $35 for two people for lunch with sub-par food, a dirty dining room is ridiculous. We could have went to any number of other restaurants at Easton for the same price and a better experience, but we wanted to try something new. On top of the high menu prices, they will also ask for a tip. For what? Who knows. Who’s getting the tip? Who knows. It’s a fast food restaurant with extremely limited service. Nothing that warrants a tip.
Dec 23, 2023 · Jason RFantastic soups and sandwiches served fresh. I think it is great that you can try any and all of the soups to take to the guesswork out of finding one you really like. They also serve fresh bread along with the soup selections so you have a bit more delicious in your belly before you leave.
Jan 08, 2018 · Rich CampoamorI had one of the least expected experiences at Zoup today. Attached is the Broccoli cheddar soup I received . It was like a semi-solid cheese paste. Just look at the picture of the same soup on Zoup's website. No comparison at all.I had good experiences in the past with Zoup at this location. Chicken Pot Pie soup has always been my favorite evening take over. But, now I would think twice before I visit again. I am disappointed.
