★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Zen sushi is amazing and I can’t believe the price point for the quality of fish you get. I loved every piece and the rice is so good. They get their fish from Toyosu market in Japan and you can tell because their fish is so good and every piece melts in your mouth. This is the best omakase in NYC we’ve been to under $100. Chef Jeff was amazing and our waitress was super nice as well. Can’t wait to be back!
August 07 · Stephanie ChoiThe fish here is exceptional. You can tell the chefs come from strong pedigree. The scallops were probably my favorite, but everything was well-prepared. They give you enough time, the sake selection is excellent, the price is fair, and the rice is exceptional. Nothing stood out as bad. I got the eel and foie gras add-on, and that was incredible too. You’ve gotta go.
June 18 · Jack Maguire14 course experience was a once in a lifetime culinary extravaganza. Hedy greeted us and was wonderful the entire time. Oliver our sushi chef was a wealth of knowledge sharing valuable insights into every course he prepped and served. He checked in appropriately on us to make sure everything was delicious. Deep see snapper was my favorite! You must visit Zen Sushi Omakase and if you are lucky you will be seated to be served by Oliver.See you soon Dan
May 26 · Daniel HughesZen Sushi Omakase is a great spot tucked away on Eldridge Street in the Lower East Side. As soon as you walk in, you’re met with super friendly and attentive staff and chefs who make you feel right at home. They serve up a 14-course omakase with top-notch ingredients for just $89 which is a steal! Grab some sake to go with your meal and make the whole experience much more elevated. That toro handroll was so good I had to order TWO. Be sure to ask about their a la carte specials if you want to treat yourself a little more. Honestly, I was already thinking about coming back before I even left.
July 31 · Elena HoGreat priced omakase (14 pieces for $89) with options to get special add ons such as Kumamoto oyster with uni, ikura etc. Super fresh sushi with clever sauces and toppings. Very friendly staff and chef made for a relaxed and pleasant dinner. We will be back!
