Lovely place. Love the background instrumental music, immerses you in the culture experience. Amazing wonton soup, delicious shrimp and pork soup dumpling, fried pork dumplings and the steamed buns with the egg yolk filling (egg yolk filling doesn’t taste like egg yoke)(sweet and salty flavor combo) are delicious.Super friendly and attentive the lady that served us. They have a display of vases and other glass items for decor and sale. Definitely coming back on my next trip. - Lizzette Acevedo

New York City's East Village is a treasure trove of diverse and authentic cuisines, and Antique Corner stands out as a true hidden gem. It’s the kind of place that feels both new and timeless, offering a dining experience that is as cozy as it is delicious. It's not just a restaurant; it’s a corner of tranquility where you can enjoy traditional Asian comfort food in a relaxed setting.

The restaurant has clearly mastered the art of creating a warm and personal atmosphere. The unique name, "Antique Corner," is perfectly matched by its interior, which features a charming display of "vases and other glass items for decor and sale." This adds a layer of character and uniqueness, making the dining experience feel more like a visit to a friend's well-curated home than a typical restaurant. This personal touch, combined with the "super friendly and attentive" staff, creates a sense of genuine hospitality that reviewers consistently highlight. In a city where fast-paced service is the norm, Antique Corner's commitment to making customers feel cared for is a significant part of its appeal.

The food is, of course, the main event, and it more than lives up to the expectations set by the charming ambiance. Customer reviews rave about the authenticity and quality of the dishes. The wonton soup is described as "amazing," and the soup dumplings are singled out as a must-try. Reviewers also praise the fried pork dumplings, steamed buns, and scallion pancakes, noting that the food is not only "delicious" but also served quickly. This combination of speed and quality is highly valued in the New York dining scene. The focus on classic, well-executed dishes makes Antique Corner a reliable destination for anyone craving authentic Asian flavors.

It is evident that Antique Corner has successfully cultivated a loyal local following. The fact that customers express a desire to "definitely" come back on their next trip speaks volumes about the lasting positive impression the restaurant leaves. It's a place that delivers on all fronts: delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a uniquely charming character that makes it a true East Village standout.
