The menu at Bo Ky is a showcase of regional specialties, particularly those from the Teochew region of China and influenced by Vietnamese cuisine. The focus is on a variety of noodle soups and hearty meat dishes, all prepared with a dedication to traditional recipes. Diners can choose from a wide array of options, including Beef Brisket, Country Style Chicken Noodle Soup, and the highly-praised Teo Chew Sate Flat Noodle or Egg Noodle. Located at 80 Bayard St, New York, NY 10013, USA, Bo Ky is perfectly situated for anyone exploring Chinatown. Its central location on a street known for its bustling energy makes it easily accessible from all over the city. Public transportation is the most convenient way to reach the restaurant, as it is just a short walk from several subway stations. The Canal Street station, serving the J, N, Q, R, W, and 6 lines, and the Grand Street station for the B and D lines are all within easy reach. This excellent connectivity makes Bo Ky an ideal stop for a meal, whether you're coming from another part of Manhattan or one of the outer boroughs. While street parking is available, it can be scarce and is often paid, so taking the subway is highly recommended for a stress-free journey.
Bo Ky's location also places it near iconic neighborhood landmarks like Columbus Park, providing an opportunity to take a leisurely stroll and soak in the local atmosphere before or after your meal. The area is a hub of cultural activity, and Bo Ky is a central part of that experience.
Bo Ky focuses on providing essential services that cater to its clientele's primary needs:

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This store is not as good as I expected. The portion is just right for a girl but too less for a guy. We ordered beef brisket and it was a little too hard to chew. The fish balls are too “soft”. I guess this is Chaozhou style maybe? Their fried fish cake is pretty good though among everything we ordered. The texture of the noodles is what I expected to be, not too soft or too hard. It’s just right.
May 29 · Jasmine LamBeen coming to this place for years when I want something simple and affordable. It is a place where you eat and go, not really a place to dine and hang. Right place but enough rooms between tables in certain sections. Need to improve their cleanliness standard. I think it is a cash only place- i've been paying cash every time I come here.
July 30 · EvaThe food at Bo Ky is absolutely delicious — everything was full of flavor and tasted authentic. I especially loved how comforting and satisfying the dishes were. While the service could be a bit more attentive, the amazing food more than made up for it. I’ll definitely be coming back!
May 19 · CCService is better if you bring someone that speaks Cantonese. My beef noodle soup had a tomato broth flavor which was unexpected. The curry noodles were good. They are cash only!
August 04 · SalinatrixTried this old-school Teochew spot in Chinatown — Bo Ky.The fish cakes were the highlight: crispy and springy.Seafood and satay beef ho fun were solid.No-frills, but worth a try.
