★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had an incredible dinner experience at Crown Shy! The food was absolutely outstanding—every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The service was just as impressive. A small issue came up during the evening, but Pablo Garcia, the dining room manager, handled it with such professionalism and care that it made the experience even more memorable. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. I’ll definitely be back soon and will recommend this spot to friends and colleagues—especially for special dinners or business meetings. Truly unforgettable!
July 03 · Carlos FernandezThis was my first experience with a Michelin starred restaurant and I was not disappointed. Every dish was better than the previous one. The absolute highlights were the bread to start, the Braised short rib, and the desserts. Our server was so knowledgeable about the food and made some excellent recommendations along the way. Also the dessert was the best we had ever had. I am so glad we got to experience Crown Shy and we will be back.
July 21 · Gary GregoryThis is one of the best restaurants that I have been to lately, I was so pleasantly surprised. Not only was the food very good, the service was really unmatched. The starter bread was so delicious and a nice surprise at a place of this caliber to start off with something for all the tables. I do think they exceed at the appetizer courses more than the mains but everything we had was a nice twist and flavorful. The cocktails were also really layered and delicious, the server also brought us a taste of one of their favorite drinks which made the evening feel even more special. I will be telling people about this spot for sure!
August 11 · mike gasperAs a vegetarian, the menu was a bit limited. I started with the fritters and had the gnocchi as my main. Unfortunately, neither dish impressed me the fritters were quite bland and tasted mostly of dough, and the gnocchi was dense and lacking in flavour. That said, there were definitely highlights. The house bread pistachio bread with chive butter was absolutely delicious. I’ve never had complimentary bread like that before; it really stood out.We also ordered the wine flight, which was a fun experience. While I didn’t love every wine, I appreciated learning about the regions and details behind each pour it added a thoughtful touch to the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our meal. The atmosphere and overall vibe of the restaurant were also very pleasant. We ended with the tres leches for dessert, which was a solid finish to the meal.
July 21 · Simrun JhutyWe went to Crown Shy on our first night in New York, and the whole experience was amazing. Our table was right in front of the kitchen, and it was so much fun to watch everything happening behind the scenes. If you love food, you’ll definitely enjoy it.The vibe is modern, clean, and elegant. Our server was fantastic, super attentive and made sure to accommodate the allergies in our group, which we really appreciated. There was a little bit of a delay between some of the courses, but the staff was very kind and kept us informed, so it didn’t take away from the night.Since it’s a Michelin-starred restaurant, you can expect higher prices, but overall it’s worth it for the experience. The chicken, pork, and fish were all delicious and beautifully plated. I just wish the flavors had a little more of a “wow” that bold, unforgettable punch you expect at this level.Still, between the great service, the atmosphere, and the overall quality, it made for a really special night. I’d definitely recommend it for a celebration.
