Donatos is famous for its "Edge to Edge" thin-crust pizza, which is generously loaded with toppings all the way to the edge of the pie. The "pepperoni" pizza, for example, is a classic and a fan favorite, known for its abundant heritage pepperoni slices. The menu also offers a variety of signature pizzas, including the "Works" with pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, and mushrooms, and the "Very Vegy," loaded with fresh vegetables. For those with specific preferences, the "Hot Honey Pepperoni" and the "Hawaiian" pizzas offer unique flavor profiles that have become popular choices. Donatos Pizza Reviews
Great place, and karaoke Sundays (Black Brick bar at Donatos)
May 14, 2025 · steve mcmullenI have gotten pizza here twice, the first time it took 20 minutes for someone to even come to the front desk and ask what our order name was (obviously the food was freezing by the time we got it) and the second time, my pizza was completely uncooked. The cheese literally was unmelted and the pizza dough was still.. well, dough. I don’t recommend this place or their employees. Bad service=bad food.
Apr 10, 2025 · Mollie AyarsDropped in for a quick fix and was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the delicious, affordable ($6) 7" personal pizza. I got the original pepperoni and was even more pleased to discover it was well done and square cut, tavern style. This pizza would be perfect for a kid, or anyone needing a pizza pick-me-up! 10/10 recommend!
Apr 07, 2024 · Sorse ArchiveMy Hot Chicken Pizza was a Hot Mess to say the least. It was overcooked, lukewarm, and it wasn't even completed. No pickles and no ranch dressing. My garlic bread and cinnamon bread were also overcooked. I called and complained and was interrupted by the boy on the phone. I waited almost 2 hours for a bad order. I asked for a new pizza and had to wait a long time for it as well. I used to work at a Donatos and its really not difficult to get it right. Just read the receipt that's right in front of you. I will not be ordering there ever again. Extremely disappointed.
Oct 13, 2020 · Kehinde Knox GoncalvesSo I've tried to hold my tongue because I try to support local as much as possible. But the customer service at the Donatos in the Short North at 1st and High is absolutely deplorable.I live and work about a block and a half from Donatos and so I usually pre-order a pizza to pick up after work for ease. Several times, and I mean about as many times as they do, my pizza is always late being made. I have even spoken with the owner there one day who lamented that I should not have had to wait an additional 10 minutes for a pizza that I had ordered 3 hours before to be picked up at a certain time. The most offensive part though is that there is never anyone at the pickup window. More often than not when I go to pick up my pizza, I have to bang on the window and wait several minutes for anybody to pay attention. It happened again today. And the way that girl rolled her eyes at me, like how dare I insist that she do her job after my pizza was 12 minutes late to be picked up because there was simply nobody there to help me, I have made a choice and a resolution. In 2025, I will be valuing myself as a customer. And I will only be going to places who will value me as a customer as well. Donatos's motto that every piece is important is apparently not true. Because the piece called customer service is obviously not important to you. So I will take my business elsewhere. Let's be honest, there are no shortage of pizza joints in our beautiful city.An amendment: the cold pizza not even cut through all the way. So that meant, I just had one big mass of cheese and toppings that when I attempted to try to cut through the slice marks with my butcher's knife, the crust was so soggy it made everything a mess. I had to take the pizza back because I was not going to eat pizza that made me cry.The manager then, after I returned it and did not particularly feel gracious after everything that it happened resulting in my not eating pizza for lunch today, decided to argue with me. I simply pointed out that every time I came out to that place the pizza is wrong and/or late. And that he should maybe read this review. I hope this is helpful to you.
