★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The atmosphere is very modern which is nice. The Hostess was very courteous and inviting. But when we were greeted by the waiter he was taken back that we didn't have a voucher. He hesitated and so I told him we had something better it was called money. He then took our drink order. And showed my friend to the restroom.Where she returned she explained that the bathroom was down a hall past a gym and 3 flights up. Which means if you have to use the restroom make sure you wear your walking shoes.I provide pictures of the food. The bread basket was delicious. 3 types of bread. Olive, Pumpernickel and French. We ordered from the Brunch Menu. So we decided to each get a different item so we can try each others. The appetizers were good my favorite part was the Bacon Jam. So delicious. The Onion soup was surprisingly bland. I had to add salt. The entrees were okay. I wasn't really impressed. The potatoes that came with the steak and eggs were bland and I had asked for an over easy eggs and received fried sunnyside up. Even after asked how to make them. The Mimosas were delicious. Lastly, I have to say they make amazing coffee. I suggest at the end or with your meal you order a French press coffee. You I'll be glad you did.
October 01 · Tai VicariI love this place. It's perfect for a cute and quiet breakfast alone or with friends. I got the signature scrambled egg dish (pictured) with an individual french press. They bring around fresh pastries and bread. I also had a delicious croissant and delicious fresh orange juice.
March 09 · Samantha RainwaterCame here for Valentine’s Day!Delicious French cuisine with more of a business meeting atmosphere. We had steak tartar, ratatouille filet mignon & raspberry dessert.
February 15 · Sara TateGood but not great. Sofitel usually has outstanding restaurants within their hotels. Gaby, however, is an exception. The Spanish style octopus was ok; the accoutrements were a nice addition but the octopus itself was less than memorable. Service was painfully slow and inattentive.
December 20 · Thomas NovelliThe bar at Gaby Brasserie in New York is nothing short of spectacular! During our short trip to the city, we aimed to experience as much as possible, yet we found ourselves returning here twice for pre-dinner drinks which for all in our group was a testament to the exceptional quality of both the cocktails and the service.A huge shoutout to our bartender David, who elevated our evenings with his incredible craft and warm hospitality. Every cocktail he made for our group was a masterpiece, and I couldn’t resist taking a sip of each one. His expertise and engaging presence turned what could have been just another drink stop into a memorable part of our trip. My only complaint would be that David’s espresso martini has ruined me for all others, the bar is now far too high. We would have gladly returned for a third round on Sunday if our dinner hadn’t gone past closing time.Thank you, David, for your impeccable care and for setting the bar impossibly high. We truly wished we could have returned again before we left. Highly recommend Gaby Brasserie to anyone visiting NYC!
