Quick update: went back and it was better! Take out order again. Had the Hawaiian ribeye, Cole slaw and a chicken ceaser salad. It was all great again. Outstanding! I did a take out order and it was the best meal I’ve had in 4 months working on the road. Everything was perfect. The Ceaser dressing is house made it tastes it the steak was perfect.

Everything else I would consider ok.Prime rib was soft and juicy with an herb crust. Would recommend not taking too much off the edge in one piece or the spices can be overpowering but make a nice flavor profile if you distribute it across smaller pieces.The ribeye had a very sweet sauce but was cooked perfectly.The salads come heavily doused in dressing though the dressing is homemade, would recommend getting it on the side. The Caesar dressing definitely has the fish taste. The range is particularly good and herbaceous much better than a standard ranch. The cilantro vinaigrette is over sweet and doesn't taste much like cilantro but does have a sesame oil taste. The croutons taste made in house though they are very salty and buttery.The steak rolls have good flavor but some parts of the casing are thick and soggy.Potatoes are very salty and dense, but incredibly buttery.The carrot cake was very dense, very sticky, and very wet. The icing was very heavy and over sweet. To me it was not redeemed by making the cake warm.The lighting in the restaurant is extremely dark.

I enjoyed a lovely afternoon brunch with my father this afternoon. We agreed that our experience was so enjoyable because of our amazing server Grace. I am constantly dreaming about the deviled eggs and the chocolate cake, you don’t want to miss out! Grace was very detailed oriented and very cautious about my severe tree nut allergy which made feel at ease. I already can’t wait to go back and Grace will be my preferred server no question!

This restaurant has been our favorite place for 25 years. Their spinach con queso appetizer is amazing. They used to have a dessert called “powerful stuff” - it was an ice cream cake and the best dessert ever! They brought it back as a special on Mother’s Day this year. It was amazing and fun to see on the menu…if even for just a day.

Popped in for dinner without a reservation, but was seated promptly. Food and service were excellent. I recommend the steak rolls, house salad, Swordfish, and salmon. And wash that all down with a bottle of Kim Crawford’s Sauvignon Blanc.
