True hidden gem in the heart of the Financial District!John’s is a classic, "hole-in-the-wall", no-frills 24-hour place that delivers exactly what you'd want—comfort food, helpful staff, and a massive menu and gets it all right. And the prices are more than fair, especially for downtown NYC.If you like supporting local places that quietly do everything well, this is it. We’ll definitely return.

I came here to say that the chopped cheese saved my life. It gave me a reason to live again. That sandwich was pure poetry. The staff were very courteous and the price was reasonable. Will definitely be back when I’m in the city.

Finally, a great new 24-hour deli in the area! The menu selection is fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options. The salads are fresh, the smoothies are delicious, and the sandwiches and hot food items are top-notch. Prices are very affordable, and the staff is super friendly. I’ve been waiting for a place like this to open for a long time—definitely my new go-to spot!

Gas gas gas gas gas gas gas gas gas gas gas.Everything's fresh to order, tall ceilings, friendly staff, delicious lamb over rice, smoothies refreshing enough to restore a dehydrated mummy, and low-key the cheesesteak is a hidden gem. They even have greenery and foliage. Come on??I've been here like... 20x. Absolute staple of the neighborhood. Truly one of the only places that deserves a real 5/5 rating.While writing this, the imagery was enough for me to walk there now for a cheesesteak. Cheers.
