I've had the cheesecake from Junior's growing up, but never had the chance to eat at the restaurant once it was opened years ago. So, since we were hungry after the show and this was the same block as the theater, we decided to give them a try.We walked in to get a table and, considering it was busy and there were 6 of us, the wait wasn't long (maybe 15-20 minutes). The place is very well kept and clean in the dining area. The decor and design gives the feeling of a diner - shiny tile floors, booth seating - but in a more modern way than the 50s soda shop. The service was good overall, with our waitress coming over to greet us immediately, checking in with is a decent amount of times during our dining experience and it not taking long to be served anything we ordered. Speaking of food, I went with the Chicken Parmesan dinner plate for my meal and the Raspberry Swirl Cheesecake. Both were really good and I enjoyed it. It was a pretty large serving size of the chicken parm, so I took a bit home with me.Overall, good food and service. I would consider coming back and trying other items on the menu and getting a drink for their bar.

Junior's Restaurant & Bakery – Times Square, NYCJunior’s is a gem just half a block from Times Square—literally right next to the Lion King Broadway Theatre and about a block from our hotel (SpringHill Suites Times Square). Out of all the places we dined during our weeklong NYC trip, this one easily made our top 3.The service was good, though not exceptional—but the food more than made up for it.I tried matzoh ball soup for the very first time, and it was hearty, flavorful, and comforting—everything you'd hope for in a classic deli soup. The kids went for the foot-long hot dogs, which were a big hit. My wife ordered the clubhouse sandwich, and when it arrived, we all laughed—it could’ve fed a small army.I had the corned beef and pastrami sandwich with red potato salad, and it was just as massive and delicious as you'd expect from a New York deli. Definitely not a one-person meal, but I gave it my best shot.We couldn’t leave without trying dessert, and my wife’s strawberry cheesecake was absolutely out of this world—rich, creamy, and easily the best cheesecake we had during our trip.Prices were a bit on the higher side, but that’s to be expected in Times Square. Still, they felt fair given the quality and portion sizes.My only regret? Not finding this place sooner. It would’ve been our go-to spot throughout the week.

I pass by almost every weekend and finally decided to give it a try. The food was good. Loved the pickles and the potato salad. The lemonade too was good, appreciated the refill option. The chicken tenders were definitely overpriced and the Greek salad lacked tomatoes. The cheesecake was okay.

Junior's was pretty good! Me and my friend shared a massive piece of red velvet cheesecake, and the two of us combined weren't even able to finish it. I loved their steak-cut french fries, my coffee was good, and my friend said that their meal was outstanding as well. It was also a really cool atmosphere, it almost felt like being in a Pixar movie.Would recommend stopping by!
