A lovely balance of texture & flavorful. Fantastic Tasty, 100% recommended.Of course, you can’t miss any appetizers!!! The home-made dumplings, fired chicken, calamari…. They all are good starters in a ramen store. The Matcha Pannacotta is calling me. SO SMOOTH. The Hot Match Tea made the meal UNFORGETTABLE 😊
April 13 · chen mengWe came here at about 2;30 on a cool Tuesday so we were past the lunch rush. There were a few patrons and we were quickly seated. The staff was quick to bring us water, offer drinks, take our order and bring our entrees. The food was just the right temperature and well presented. It would have been nice to have an option to order extra noodles and a vegan option that was visible on the menu. Aside from that, we were pleased with our experience.
April 09 · David Yoshihara(Last visited July 21, 2023.) Working in New York City for the week and my co-worker said he was craving ramen or something of the sort. I did some Yelp'ing as I do and found Kame! Here's why I liked it so much!Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right on the corner of 8th Avenue & 28th Street is this gem. Obviously there isn't a parking lot, but there's plenty of street parking around and I'm sure there are multiple parking structures somewhere around. The original location opened in a different part of the city in 2020 and maintained strength until a leasing dispute forced them to move to where they are now! Inside is a modern, chic, simplistic atmosphere with excellent mood lighting and chill music with no words.Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but she was sweet, patient, helpful and just made sure we were well taken care of.Food: I started with the beef bun and it was GOOD. It was so soft and flavorful. The meat wasn’t as tender as I’d like, but it was okay! Just a hint of sweetness. The gyoza was AMAZING. Probably the best I’ve ever had with a different shape, crispy skin, succulent pork that definitely was made fresh in house. The fried chicken was also amazing. It had sesame seeds, peanuts and scallions all on top of its good crispy skin. Mild spiciness and sweetness. DELICIOUS. The Spicy Salmon Ramen was very good. There was a very slight fishy taste, but it didn’t throw the whole dish off. The flavors worked well together and most importantly, the dish wasn’t overly salty.Value: The beef buns are $6.00 each. The gyoza was $11.00 and you get 5 pieces. The fried chicken was also $11.00 and you get 4 chicken-thigh sized pieces. My ramen was $21.00. All in all, this place is adequately priced for sure and everything was well worth it. You can't have excellent quality food without paying for it. You feel me? I'd pay it all over again. In conclusion, I loved it here and I wish them much success! The restaurant is on the smaller side, so make reservations and make sure you check this place out!
June 18 · The Hungry RoadAmazing place for a comforting ramen bowl! Really enjoyed the flavor of the broth - very creamy, a bit smoky. The onsen egg was very nice - a great addition to the dish. The Yuzu Lemonade and Yuzu Ice tea were wonderful as well! The service is great! Fully recommend this place for any occasion!
August 21 · Artem BakatovGreat location in the heart of the city — easy to get to.Nice atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff. The ramen is decent and enjoyable, nothing extraordinary but solid overall.A good place to stop by if you’re nearby.
