★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Visited this charming little place on recommendation from a friend. Very good service, easy to get a table, and super tasty food with fresh ingredients. The owner came around to check on me and others, and was highly attentive to my needs and making sure I had what I wanted. I will definitely be returning!
August 03 · David CarvajalWe stopped by on a whim while on vacation in new york and was greeted by John. He said his family has the best food in town and he wasn't wrong. The food was fantastic. You could taste every ingredient that went into the preparation of the food. And the lunch special prices were fantastic. We had the chicken Francais and the chicken parmesan and both were excellent. Will come back to eat here when we're in town again!!
August 16 · Sabrina KhanWe ordered the stuffed mushrooms to start. The sauce was light and creamy, pairing beautifully with the tender mushroom and its soft, flavorful stuffing. No meat — just garlic, onions, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, butter, salt, and pepper — simple ingredients that came together perfectly.Next, we had the rigatoni bolognese. A hearty, comforting dish with a well-balanced blend of protein and acidity. The portion was generous and satisfying. Finally, we tried the porcini mushroom ravioli. I’m not sure what the sauce was, but it struck a perfect balance — not too heavy, not too acidic, not overly creamy. The rich filling of the ravioli paired wonderfully with the sauce.Overall, very simple ingredients, but each dish was thoughtfully crafted and well-executed — proof that simplicity, when done right, can be exceptional.
March 20 · Ira EchavezI had a great Aperol Spritz and the veal tortellini in Alfredo sauce which I chose over the Vodka sauce. We also had spaghetti carbonara, mushroom ravioli and they were 5 stars… my husband had spaghetti with meatballs and he complaint about the pasta quality, the watery red sauce and the tasteless meatballs…Service was greatAmbiance… there is room for improvement
July 19 · Luciane CerriIn NYC with my sister. We stopped in a bit before noon and were greeted with such warmth. As we sipped on a La Crema Bottle of wine, the incredible “Butch the Hat” aka Frank Aquilino chatted with us for 45 minutes and we were sooooo fascinated with all his stories of working on Good Fellas and Wise Guys! Not to mention his years in NYC. The Gnocchi is great and the Mussels in white wine truly amazing…don’t pass on them!
