When it comes to deciding what to order at Le Baratin, the reviews and menu itself provide plenty of inspiration. The "Les Classiques" section of the menu is where you'll find the heart of the restaurant's offerings. The Steak Frites, in particular, is a standout, with one customer raving that it was "cooked perfectly" and was "top-notch." This is a quintessential French bistro dish, and Le Baratin's version is considered a great value for the quality. Another popular choice is the Tartare de Boeuf au Couteau, a classic hand-chopped steak tartare that has received high praise. For those looking for a comforting starter, the Soupe à l'oignon is a traditional and flavorful option.
Beyond the main courses, the appetizers are equally compelling. The Escargots Persillade, a classic snail dish in a parsley and garlic butter sauce, is a popular choice for an authentic French start. Another highly recommended dish is the Baked Brie, which promises to be a warm and delightful treat. Customers have also noted the Mac and Cheese as a surprising and delicious comfort food option. The dedication to quality is apparent throughout the menu, and the staff's warmth and professionalism, particularly the hostess Johanna mentioned in a review, elevate the entire dining experience. While the atmosphere might not be for everyone's taste, the food is consistently praised as being well worth the visit, making Le Baratin a must-try for anyone looking for a taste of authentic French cuisine in New York City.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Had a great meal at Le Baratin. The food really stood out—especially the steak frites, which was cooked perfectly, and the French toast, which was rich and flavorful. Both dishes were top-notch. The atmosphere, however, felt a little off—maybe it was the lighting or the music, but it didn’t quite match the quality of the food. Still, definitely worth visiting for the food alone.Coming in again for sure.

May 30 · Filip PetricevicI discovered Le Baratin recently, and it is a must try in Greenwich! They offer delicious French food, very tasty, good portions and top quality. The atmosphere is great, and people working there are friendly!I really recommend this place, which is located in a great neighbourhood!
October 20 · Malo BlondeauSo glad we had an opportunity to dine here! This place is a bit smaller than I expected but it was actually so much more fun than some of the larger party dinners. Really good service and drinks (Espresso Martini and Baratin Martini). The French Onion soup was one of the best I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to return.
November 12 · NatashaFollowing Pride, I visited a restaurant where I encountered some challenges. It seemed that the staff had a preconceived notion about certain guests, leading to a situation where individuals were not welcomed based on their identity. I was informed that the restaurant was closed to those they deemed not fitting their vision. It would be beneficial for establishments to foster an inclusive atmosphere that welcomes everyone.
