★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I love the vibe of this neighborhood spot. The Greek salad was great. Lamb burger was not something I'd order again, but the fries were great. I'd go back to try some other things on the menu. My friend enjoyed her pasta dish.
March 21 · Joanie ANot the best-run restaurant on the UWS, but the back garden is pretty and the food is excellent. Friends told us to order the pide (Turkish flat bread), which we did--truly good Vegetarian Pide, Vegetarian Manti, Zuchini salad, and Falafel. Poor service--the waiter kept looking at his phone and disappearing. It was a lovely evening so we were happy to sit in the garden while he forgot about us. But we felt bad for the crowd of people outside waiting to come in.
June 21 · Julia Vitullo-MartinCan’t believe it’s taken me this long to try Leyla!Beautiful, cozy, romantic vibes with plenty of seating, comfy chairs, and cute decor. Very friendly and quick waitstaff too. They do a fabulous happy hour deal - 3 dips and a drink for $25 🤯 Had the spinach yorma, muhammara, and atom - all three were great, but the standout was definitely the muhammara; the atom had a nice kick to it too. Ordered a glass of Turkish red wine as a part of the deal.We also got the 3 Cheese Pide - SO good! Lovely bit of truffle taste, delightful light crunchiness, and the cheese mix was superb. The chicken sandwich was good too, but the fries were excellent. Can’t wait to come back!
July 16 · LoMo PhillipsWe stumbled upon this spot after a quaint afternoon visit to Central Park. Note you'll probably need a reservation because all the indoor seating was already full at 5:30pm. The outdoor section was great though, arguably better. Three cheese vide was spectacular and so was this pan seared salmon. Really good portion size and a pretty unique garlic butter mashed potato side too. The lamb shank was also divine, I ended up finishing my friend's portion. A great way to end off Easter Sunday.
April 20 · Zach Xuewe got the octopus, lamb burger, hummus, muhammara, spinach yarma, and short rib pide. everything was amazing, plus such a great happy hour selection. would highly recommend!
