This is such a cute and cozy place 💙 the kind of place you can go as a party of one, two or three and enjoy good food. The menu is on the wall when you walk in, the sake offerings and food and the server was very friendly and helpful. This is your little romantic restaurant to get close, or go with your bestie to hear good news or take your kids for one on one dinner and listening time. We really enjoyed the ambiance. The food was good, I had the shrimp dumplings, he had the beef noodles. What I loved - the dumplings had a fat, juicy full shrimp inside. What he loved - his dish was just the right level of spicy. We both loved the sake. I want to go back and try the peanut butter noodles and just enjoy the vibe, relaxing, romantic, sweet and lovely place to dine. - Solange Hansen

Lin & Daughters Menu

  • Dumplings (8 pieces)

  • Pan Fried Cumin Beef Dumplings W. Chili Sauce $15.49

This beef dumpling recipe is a result of combining my love for cumin and my dad’s secret for making the juicy flavorful beef filling. The onion and cilantro taste subtle but add a nice texture, as well as crispness to balance the earthy cumin seasoning.

  • Pan Fried Curry Chicken Dumplings $14.49

The filling of this dumpling is made w. ground chicken and celery. The mild and tasty Japanese curry enhances the flavor of the filling without being overpowering. Served with a side of house dumpling sauce.

  • Pan Fried Vegetable Dumplings $13.49

Golden and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these bite-worthy dumpling are multi-layered in flavor. The filling is made with fresh vegetables, shiitake mushroom and tofu. Served with a side of house dumpling sauce.

  • Shrimp Dumplings With Lime Chili Sauce $15.99

If you like seafood, you'll love this dumpling! The sweetness of the shrimp perfectly complements the tangy lime chili dressing. Topped with garlic crisp and cilantro.

  • Lin's Pork & Chive Dumplings $13.49

Baba Lin makes really mean dumplings and this is one of them. They are a burst of flavor, filled with pork and chives. The wrappers are distinctly southern Chinese-style, thin yet bouncy. Served with a side of house dumpling sauce.

  • Soups/Noodles

  • Brother Lin's Beef Noodle Soup (Lanzhou-Inspired) $19.99

My brother, Mike, is my biggest supporter when I decided to open Lin & Daughters so I named this soup in his honor. The broth is made by simmering beef bones in herbs and spices for many hours to extract the beef essence. The braised beef briskets are deliciously saturated with spices and herbs. I find it to be a comforting soup that I enjoy eating year round, but especially during the colder seasons. Note: this noodle soup is not a faithful recreation of any traditional recipes. It leans toward Lanzhou style but with my own twist.

  • Dan Dan Noodles $14.99

This is one of China’s most well-known dishes, understandably! It’s sweet, savory, spicy, and so flavorful. The sauce is made with different ingredients, but most importantly, it includes my dad’s special chili oil recipe. The crispy pork bites and roasted peanuts add extra crunch, not to mention incredible flavors!

  • Mom's Wonton Soup (16 Oz) $7.99

This delicious and comforting soup is one of my mom's many specialities. The filling is made with pork and scallion, simple yet delicious. The wrapper is thinner than usual - a distinct character of Fuzhou style wontons. The light broth will kickstart your taste buds with its savory sourness.

  • Sister Lin's Chicken Noodle Soup $17.99

This soup is named after my other sibling, Lili. It's heartwarming and good for the soul, and so is my little sister. The slow-cooked broth is flavored with various exotic herbs, before adding flat rice noodles, shredded chicken, vegetables and fried shallots.

  • Grandma's Peanut Noodles $10.99

This is one of my childhood favorites/staples. Creamy peanut sauce with layers of both sweet and savory taste makes this the most well-known noodle dish of Fuzhou, China. A visit to my grandparents’ place when I was little, and now my parents', would not be complete without a bowl of hot steamy peanut noodles. I’m excited to share a piece of my childhood with you!

  • Daughter's Garlic Butter Noodles $15.99

This dish is one of my younger daughter's favorites, and it's the only thing, other than pizza, I can count on her to eat. Supposedly invented in San Francisco by a Vietnamese American chef, it beautifully fuses the flavors of the East and West. The combination of butter and garlic is already enticing, but the addition of oyster sauce and other Asian seasonings makes it almost irresistible. Enjoy with bok choy, or add shrimp for extra umami and sweetness.

  • Seasonal Special Cold Soba Noodle $14.99

This hot-weather-friendly dish features low-carb soba noodles tossed with fresh vegetables, drizzled with roasted sesame oil, and finished with a citrusy, lightly seafood-flavored soy sauce. The flavors may seem subtle at first but deepen deliciously with every bite. Add shrimp to boost the umami, or enjoy it just as it is. If you love our butter garlic udon noodles, this will definitely be right up your alley!

  • Sides/Salads

  • Bok Choy With Oyster Garlic Sauce $14.49

This dish features a light option of steamed greens with garlic oil and oyster sauce. It’s simple yet delightful. Enjoy as side to any meal!

  • Cheesy Scallion Pancakes 2.0 $11.49

This is a newer version inspired by my daughters's love for cheese and scallion pancakes, and my dad's recipe for crab rangoon. Pan fried scallion pancakes are rolled with creamy rangoon cheese filling (no crab). Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, this is a comforting dish with an east meets west twist. Served with a side of house white cream sauce.

  • Spicy Cucumber Salad $10.99

This salad is one of my favorites! It's a great side dish for when you want something extra but not heavy. The sauce is a nice balance of sweet, savory, and tangy. Pair it with dumplings or noodles; this salad will sure make your meal extra interesting.

  • Wontons In Hot Chili Oil (8 Pieces) $10.99

This dish is packed with flavor and umami. The pork wontons are covered with homemade spicy chili oil and drizzled with seasoned soy sauce. This comfort food can be found on the menu of any Sichuan restaurant.

  • Limited Edition: Scallion Pancake Beef Rolls W/ Beef Broth Dip $15.99

This dish is my take on the traditional beef rolls. Instead of beef shank, we use Texas bbq inspired 4 -hour roasted brisket as the filling, along with scallion and cilantro. Served w a side of mild house beef broth.

  • Seasonal Special Spicy Sesame Salad $13.49

Crisp cabbage, edamame, cucumber, and other fresh vegetables are tossed in our house-made spicy sesame dressing - a flavorful blend of our popular dan dan noodle sauce, light mayo, house chili oil, Chinese vinegar, and special seasonings. Finished with scallions, crunchy peanuts, and lo mein crisps for extra texture and flavor. Enjoy it as a vibrant vegetarian dish, or add chicken for a protein boost.
