When it comes to choosing a meal at Little Beet, the options are as plentiful as they are appealing. The "Make Your Own Plate" is a popular choice for a reason; it puts you in complete control of your meal. You can start with a base of Basmati Rice, Quinoa, or Field Greens, then add your choice of protein and two vegetables. For those who want more greens, the Greens + Grains Custom Plate or Greens + Rice Custom Plate are excellent choices. Customers frequently rave about the quality of the salmon, noting its delicious flavor, though some feel the portion size could be larger for the price. The Charred Broccoli and Roasted Beets and Lentils are also standout side dishes, consistently earning praise. The wide selection of sauces, particularly the Cranberry Harissa and Beet Hummus, allows for an extra layer of customization and flavor.
For those who prefer a pre-curated meal, the "Chef Crafted Bowls" are a great option. The BRUSSEL HUSTLE SALAD and the PALEO BOWL are among the favorites, showcasing the chef's ability to combine flavors and textures expertly. The BEET FALAFEL BOWL is a must-try for plant-based eaters, offering a hearty and satisfying alternative. Little Beet also caters to very specific diets with their KETO BOWL and LOW FODMAP BOWL, which is a rare and valuable offering for those with particular dietary needs.
While the food itself is widely praised for being healthy, flavorful, and entirely gluten-free, it is worth noting the common customer feedback about the price point. Some reviews describe it as "overpriced" for the portion size, suggesting that it's a "high end" option for what it is. The value lies in the quality of the ingredients—organic and fresh—and the peace of mind that comes with a 100% gluten-free kitchen. For a quick, healthy, and delicious meal in the heart of NYC, Little Beet offers a dependable and worthwhile choice. The experience of building your own plate and exploring the variety of high-quality ingredients makes it a culinary adventure worth repeating.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Healthy. Yummy. But very high end for what it is. Also small-ish volume. ~$18-22 / bowl. Salmon was quite good. And then you get a base and only 2 veggies… everything else is extra.Salmon is delish. It’s not that great of a portion for +$6. Plenty of sauces- I really like the cranberry Harrissa and the beet hummus. Charred broccoli is nice. Rice is good. Seed toppings are delish.Gluten-free. Healthy healthy. Overpriced. Very restrictive (you basically get 4 ingredients per bowl).Technical note:The way it’s organized, they have the cold veg and the warm veg, and you choose 2 across them, and it’s not clear when ordering. Someone should streamline the customer experience.
February 05 · Isabella Grandic*DON’T ORDER AHEAD OF TIME*I placed an online order at 12:30PM for 1:30PM pickup. Not only was my order not ready by 1:30PM, it wasn’t ready by 1:50PM even after asking them to prioritize my order. A bunch of other people had issues with their online orders not being ready. By the time they got to my order, they told me they ran out of turkey as a part of their new Harvest Turkey Bowl. They also ran out of rice for someone else. They gave me a cookie for the inconvenience but there goes my entire lunch break. The food is good but don’t order ahead of time.
June 26 · Jennifer NgoStopped by for a quick lunch. Food’s good, but not cheap. Most of the staff work in the own food stations, and pass to the next person when you done with their station. I forgot to ask corns, so I asked the person worked at the meat/protein station, and the person couldn’t understand but keep asking back “pork?”. Nothing special about the service, will definitely order online if there’s next time.
February 27 · Emi TTasty foods, friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. Overall satisfactory but seemed a bit short-staffed so I chose 4 stars for the service.
October 19 · YUKA DAIMONFirst time eating here. We where looking for something else and stumbled upon the little beet. The ordering was simple and creative, choose your protein base and other add ons and sauces. It’s vegan and boy was this food delicious. I got brown rice with chicken with beans and spicy sauces. It was delicious and I would go back. Fairly inexpensive as well. Service was great.
