We went to Little Ruby’s for lunch it was so good. I had the Spritz which was delicious and pretty strong, along with the spicy vodka pasta and we shared sweet potato fries. The food came out quick and tasted fresh and of high quality. I would absolutely recommend this spot if you’re in the area. Definitely on the pricier side but it’s NYC. Will definitely be back!

We went on a super busy day and had reservations in advance. Our waitress was SUPER kind so we were happy about that. The food was delicious, at least the pasta was. The salad was great, I should have asked for the salad dressing on the side, that’s my fault.The only reason why this isn’t 4 stars is because of the hostesses. They seemed uninterested and too busy gossiping with their colleagues. We asked if there was any way to switch our table and they said no problem. 15 minutes later, they’re still just talking away.We got up and politely asked again. Busy is one thing, but inattentiveness is another.Regardless the waitress clearly made up for it and that was worth the whole experience.

I’ve visited this place many times in the past, but this was my first time back in 2025, and unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. The quality has gone down significantly.The bread was soggy from being soaked in sauce, which already lowered the experience, but what truly shocked me was finding a plastic piece in my granola. It wasn’t small either—I even felt it crack against my teeth! Thank god I didn’t swallow it.Service was equally frustrating. The waitress who served me had a noticeably indifferent attitude. While she consistently checked on other tables, she never once followed up with me after taking my order. I seemed to be the only Asian woman in her section, and while I don’t want to jump to conclusions, the lack of attention felt isolating and discriminating.To make things worse, the overall dining experience felt rushed, which was clearly an effort to accommodate the weekend crowd waiting outside. Aside from dropping off water at the beginning, food in the middle, and the check at the end, there was zero engagement or hospitality.This used to be a reliable spot, but after this visit, I won’t likely be returning until there’s a clear improvement in food quality, service, and overall atmosphere.

This Little Ruby's location stands out for its friendly service and lively, youthful atmosphere. Although the restaurant can be loud, this actually enhances the vibe, making it a must-visit on Saturday nights. While the main courses sounded enticing, we decided to stick with appetizers, and we were pleasantly surprised. The Brussels sprouts and eggplant dip are definitely a must-order. The calamari and fries were also fantastic, but the burrata left something to be desired. Our server was exceptional, even treating us to a complimentary drink during dinner. Regarding cocktails, I highly recommend the watermelon vodka and the spicy margarita; both were incredible. Overall, this place has quickly become one of my favorite spots for a fun dinner!

Great location in the West Village. The place was packed during brunch hours on Saturday. Unfortunately, the hostess team wasn’t helpful at all. They told us there were available seats at the bar but when we tried to find them ourselves, there was nothing. I’d recommend to book a table in advance. So, we put our name on the waiting list and were seated at a table in less than 10 minutes.The food was good, we ordered pasta vodka (was a bit spicy) and a salad with shrimps. The cocktails here were also solid. While we really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, there’s room to improve the customer service.
