3.5 stars but I'm feeling generous.A friend was craving terrible American food, so we stopped by here for dinner before karaoke.Props for ample seating and pretty attentive/friendly service considering our section was way at the back and empty. Fewer props for higher-than-expected prices, but I guess that's to be expected for a Flatiron-based diner.My Chicken Matzo Ball Soup was a bit bland, though the matzo ball wasn't bad. My Salmon Caesar Salad bowl, though, was huge and generously loaded with quinoa, tomatoes and crispy chickpeas, not to mention large, perfectly roasted, juicy pieces of salmon. For $23, it actually felty like I got my money's worth. How often can you say that in Manhattan these days?

A lovely diner with great service. Food was good and the atmosphere was cozy and retro. Drink were delicious.

Expansive menu with lots of options but untrained and inattentive waitstaff and an obvious issue with roaches making themselves visible on tables during a bustling Saturday afternoon. We ordered wings, 2 orders of fries, calamari and a lamb gyro with beef soup. And two drinks The waiter forgot the calamari and order of fries And the soup. We had to remind him a few times about the missing items. When the soup arrived it was a chicken with rice soup. Tasty… but not what I ordered and was too disappointed with the service to keep requesting any more. The gyro I received was a first of its kind and extremely laughable DIY gyro. Either it was a prank, an insult, or a dramatic miscommunication between the waiter and the cook. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

Bustling atmosphere and direct, friendly staff! Recommend the lemonade which was absurdly sweet but amazing when thirsty. Burger was juicy and pink in the middle, coffee fresh. Massive portions and had loads of cocktails deals on (which we didn’t partake but many others were)

The service is usually very good here. The men waitstaff take their job more seriously. Now when it comes to food I think it depends on who is cooking that afternoon. But it still amazes me that how can the cooking team send out something burnt or send out white toast for rye or whatever. Then you are told when they see the mistake. I will make sure they get it right next time. Omg NEXT TIME WHAT ABOUT NOW. ALSO depending on who is in the kitchen determines the size of the food on your plate. One day you might have a good size portion and then the next time it’s like getting a tea sandwich. Quality control needs tweaked.Today the meat on the sandwich was so tough I had to cut it with a knife. Finally, I decided to take it with me and share with someone on the street.
