We were visiting Columbus for the day and stopped in to this restaurant for lunch. Upon looking at the menu, we decided to order off the Value Meal menu and the cashier proceeded to process that order after explaining what the Daily Double (double burger with lettuce) Meal was. I told her that I wanted that meal and she walked away to talk to another female employee who then approached the counter, very rudely, to state that the Daily Double was NOT a meal but that I could purchase the items separately to create a meal! Why the hell would I do that when the menu shows it as a meal? She proceeds to tell me that it's NOT a meal though I and the cashier point it out to her on the menu as a Daily Double meal with small fries and small drink. This person continues, still being very rude, with "the way you can tell it's not a meal is because it doesn't show the calories!" WTH does THAT have to do with anything? I don't care about the caloric intake, I just wanted the meal. She refused to honor my request for two meals that did not exist!! I walked away because I was the customer and should have been treated as being "right" by her honoring my request based on what the menu shows. How many customers before me encountered the same situation? I was standing away from the counter and obviously still upset and she proceeds to ask me "are you going to order anything? I just don't want to stand here wasting my time if you're not!" I responded "if you're not going to give me what I asked for then no", and waved her on to go do something else! I have NEVER been treated in such an unprofessional manner at a McDonald's restaurant. What she SHOULD have done was allowed me to order the Daily Double meals because it is clearly listed on the menu as such but what she DID instead was lose a sale! I have many years in the customer service field and her actions were neither professional nor respectful. I did not ask her name but she should be trained in the area of "the customer CAN be right." If the Daily Double is NOT a meal, then get some tape or a black marker and remove it--there, problem solved!!

I don't know what has happened to this location in the past week but it has changed drastically. The younger employees were always so.pleasant and the manager was wonderful when I called once to compliment the store. It's not even the same experience now. The food has even been worse. I dont know what is going on but hopefully it gets sorted out soon.

I stopped here this morning, around 10AM. Went inside ordered a Steak biscuit sandwich abd drink . After 8 minutes I received a bag, and had to remind them of my drink. The fountain drink machine didn't work right, it sprayed all over. Found later they removed the nozzles for cleaning. Eventually got my drink from behind the counters. Then I noticed I got the wrong sandwich. I got a steak bagel. Went to two employees that didn't understand the issue, the third did. After another 7 to 9 minutes I got my sandwich. I had to leave so I try to eat the sandwich on my way. Unfortunately this "steak sandwich " had a tough chewy texture. Couldn't eat it, ended up throwing it away. Double check the food order and quality before leaving... better yet, don't go.

I use to like this McDonalds. They were the few that didn't mess your order up often. Not anymore though... Within the past few months now, EVERY order we have put in has had missing food, extra food added, food tastes dried out, and/or missing ingredients. Not only that, they have broken our debit card and handed back the two pieces like nothing happened. My family and I have decided to take the extra step and going to a different McDonalds in the future. As you can see in the picture provided, we added pickles to a sandwich and once again, what we added was not on it...
