When it comes to choosing One Stop Patty Shop, the decision is straightforward. This is the place to go for an authentic, high-quality Jamaican patty. What is truly worth choosing here is the taste and authenticity that come from a specialized menu. A customer review highlights this perfectly, calling the patty "a great patty" and a "solid above average patty." The focused menu allows the shop to master its craft, ensuring that each patty is delicious and consistently good. While one customer mentioned they wished the spicy option was available, the general consensus is that the classic offerings, like the beef patty, are a safe and enjoyable bet.
Beyond the beef, the other options are also highly praised. A review specifically mentions the "best chicken patty I’ve tasted in my life" and calls the spinach patty "delicious." This kind of high praise for multiple menu items shows that the quality isn't limited to just one product. The variety is also a strong selling point. The option to have a patty with coco bread or a slice of cheese, or to try different fillings like jerk chicken or vegetable, gives customers a reason to come back and try something new. The "coconut drop" and other "baked Jamaican treats and pastries" add another layer of appeal, making it more than just a place for patties.
The casual and quick-bite nature of the shop is another key reason to visit. It’s a perfect option for a satisfying lunch without the wait of a full-service restaurant. The service options, including curbside pickup and takeout, are tailored to a New York lifestyle where speed and convenience are highly valued. While one review mentioned a past issue with opening times, it seems that such issues are not the norm, with the overall sentiment being positive about the food's availability and quality.
In conclusion, One Stop Patty Shop is worth choosing for its authentic, flavorful, and generously portioned Jamaican patties. The combination of a focused menu, high-quality ingredients, and quick service makes it a standout choice for a satisfying and affordable meal. It's a genuine neighborhood gem that offers a true taste of the Caribbean, and for New Yorkers in the area, it's a solid, reliable, and delicious option that won't disappoint.

July 14 · Beloved 1111This is a tiny little place in Harlem offering you an opportunity to experience heaven in your mouth. You have found your place to get your patty groove on. Look no further. And not just plain old regular beef or chicken patty. I'm talking all manner of patty. Like Callaloo patty.I don't care where you are staying in New York. You want a real patty. You want an experience with the divine? You want to feel blessed in the mouth? You need to find a way to get here. Nobody is serving these right here.Even my mother was pleased. (And her uncle owned one of the largest West Indian bakeries in Harlem back in the 50's and 60's.) She took one bite of the patty and pronounced it as good as her Uncle Casper's.
January 05 · Christina SpringerOne of the best patty shops in Manhattan. The beef patties are perfectly spiced, flaky, and savory. The jerk chicken patties are also good.
