★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Desi Stop and Deli is a fantastic spot for affordable and delicious Indian and Punjabi food. The homemade taste really stands out, especially with their soft, fresh rotis that feel like they’re straight from a home kitchen. Their platters, priced around $13, are the best deal, including 2 vegetarian curries, 2 rotis, and rice—a perfect, satisfying meal. Occasionally, they also offer free sweet dishes like Rasmalai or Kheer, depending on the size of your order, which is a delightful touch.Every dish is flavorful, though the salt can be a little less sometimes, but it’s easy to adjust. The staff is warm, welcoming, and respectful, making the experience even better. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic, homemade Indian food!
November 26 · Arbaaz Ali KhanStumbled upon this small Punjabi deli in the heart of the city around midnight, and what an absolute treasure it turned out to be! The food was nothing short of soul-satisfying. The malai kofta was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced — melt-in-your-mouth good. The palak paneer was fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor, with that perfect balance of garlic and spice. And the roti? Soft, warm, and just the right kind of chewy to scoop up every last bite.Beyond the food, the hospitality was truly heartwarming. Despite the late hour, the staff greeted us with smiles and genuine warmth, making us feel like guests in their own home rather than just customers. For a small deli, this place delivers big on flavor, comfort, and kindness. A must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian comfort food — especially when the city sleeps.
March 27 · Snigdha ChowdaryChowdaryI was surprised how good this place is. Randomly stopped by to have a small snack and ended up having a bunch of things.Got a bread pakora which they had made freshly, the taste was very close to home. Also got a mixed paratha, it was very simple, not too buttery, and tasted home made. The prices are very cheap too.Would surely stop next time again.
December 27 · Bhakti DalviThe food was absolutely perfect! In a city where finding Indian food after 12 AM is nearly impossible, these guys are doing an incredible job. They maintain 100% quality and taste without any compromise on freshness. Truly appreciate the effort—thank you for the amazing food.
March 27 · Akash reddyBefore with the old management and how the store looked I didn’t have any hopes that it would last longer than 3 months. New management came in and they turned it AROUND. The food is so good, and the owner is pure and down to Earth. Will be recommending this to many people. Wish them the best
