Consistently Good Food Quality: Despite shifts in service, the taste and quality of the food generally remain as good as ever. The steakburgers are prepared quickly and maintain their classic flavor, and the milkshakes are a consistent highlight, appreciated for their rich texture and variety.

Steak 'n Shake Reviews
The workers didn't even greet us and didn't even acted like they seen us. Also all tables was nasty. I had to get napkins and wet them from the water at soda fountain to wash a table for us to sit at. I liked it 100% better when they had waitresses here at least you know you can be greeted and see a smiling face and have contact with a human and not a machine which is nuts ßoon there will be no human contact with no one at all. This place only had people at 2 tables in the whole place no reason why tables and place wasn't clean. I ordered for 4 people. We have been here for 20 minutes and when my name was called I thought he had our food done and the the gentleman says he's just starting on our order. No reason it's so slow getting our meal cause now we are the only ones in restaurant. Places order at 7:45pm and now it's 8:14pm and we only ones in store so we finally got our food and my chili was still cold and they heated it up and it still wasn't hot it was barely warm and they forgot my granddaughters apple juice and had to go ask for it. I'm really not happy with this restaurant at all. I have never had a such bad experience at a steak n shake before. People are nice but that's all I can say. My order was 35 dollars n change.
Jun 10, 2025 · Nellie BolinI haven't been to a Steak 'n Shake for a long time, so I was surprised to see that it is now essentially self-service. You place and pay for your order at a touchscreen kiosk, get your own drinks and condiments, then find a table and wait for your number to be called. There is minimal interaction with the restaurant staff. The good news is that service is very fast, and the food is as good as it always was. The experience just isn't as personable as it used to be.
Jul 20, 2025 · Darren ZThe food ordering process is useless, we have to have a Qr code to scan by the pop machine to activate the pop machine, and the fries were cold, me and my brother Charlie had the wrong order, We asked for a garlic burger and a Bacon burger ,Not a Regular burger and a steak burger and cold fries, And I asked the employee to get me and Charlie a garlic burger and a bacon burger and fresh warm fries, and the employee was a complete jerk to me, the employee is a complete jerk! She told me there is nothing wrong with the order, We just ate our food like screw it, and the bathroom was little bit dirty ,and we won't return from now on

Jan 06, 2024 · Sirena SmallI went shortly before they closed. And although they did not close until 10 PM, they refuse to take my order in the drive through or acknowledge me. I sat there for 15 minutes then they informed me they were closed.
