★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I want to come here everyday! I absolutely love this place. It feels like you’re sitting in someone’s home and the chef is so welcoming. I sat at the bar with my friend and the servers/chef constantly kept checking on us and making sure we were enjoying the food. I even noticed someone dining by myself and the chef kept making sure her food was coming out at time/making conversation with her/etc. I highly recommend this place and want to bring everyone I love here ❤️
July 11 · Aseah Khansuper tiny and cosy spot serving up really great koreanI’ve had a lot of Korean food but there were still some interesting flavors that I’ve never tasted before in the banchan. the ssam was tasty and I loooved the sauce that came with it (gochujang? with really heavy black bean taste)Only comment would be for the meat to be marinated better? I relied a lot on the sauce for taste.service was kind and attentive
August 24 · Vanessa WanOk, first you have to get over that you order and pay for Banchan, lol. But this is their specialty, housemade, delicious Banchan. For 25 dollars you get rice (which is delicious, I even asked what rice they use) and an array of Banchan, which included potato salad, mung bean jelly square, marinated mushrooms, kimchi. We split one order of Banchan and ordered a bunch of other stuff. They change up the Banchan regularly. My only comment would be, since I am paying for it, all the Banchan we had that evening were veggie based. Other reviews etc, they do do Banchan that have meat or seafood. Would love to have had one that satisfied the carnivore in me. We also had the crab and chicken mandu which was my favorite. The Bosaam, braised pork belly that came with napa cabbage, and sauces to dip and wrap, yummy. Chigae made with mushrooms was hot and flavor packed. We also ordered the handroll, I think next time I would get the Hwe, fish salad. Also had dessert a butter mochi, solid but did not wow me. I might skip that and wander out for ice cream somewhere else. The place is tiny, maybe 4-5 tables? and a counter. It's really cozy, cute and so well done. Excellent playlist. The whole experience was greater than the sum of it's parts and absolutely wonderful, I would definitely go back.
July 01 · Debbie Lowe (3jamigos)Loved this charming wine bar serving Korean fusion! We enjoyed the tuna hand roll, banchan, salad, rice cakes and mochi cake for dessert. The banchan were so fun and unique, the pickled mushrooms and eggplant with golden raisins were killer! The salad had great flavor and texture. It was a bit messy to eat with your hands but way more fun than knife and forking it. The rice cakes were so tasty and had amazing cheese pull
March 23 · Alex WileyThe stellar food was complimented by the wine list. Always order the ban chan specials of the day—so worth it—and definitely inquire about the special pour! The chigae (ate too fast, no photo) was deliciously comforting even on a humid 90*+ day. The sauce for the Hwe has a perfect balance of refreshing citrus acid and sweet spiciness. The staff is attentive and lovely. This small space packs a mighty punch in flavors. Will definitely be back!
