I had the Burrito Mexicano. Im always looking for a beans, rice meat and cheese Burrito and Tio's diner nailed it!!!! Being from California I'm always on the lookout for good Mexican food. First time here, will probably make this my spot trying out various dishes.Had both salsa Verde and roja (for me was med-hot).Good service and they care about how food tastes.

Very kind people, prompt service and delicious food! The burrito especial is the BEST! Honestly the most tender shredded beef I've ever had at a restaurant. It reminds me of pot roast made at home, very tender, fresh and flavorful. So freaking good! If you're on the Southside or just in the area come give these wonderful people some love!

The food is spot on, and the people are so amazing. This is a family owned business. The people that own this restaurant branched away from the Mexican restaurant on high street and started their own little place. If you are looking for those familiar faces that you once seen they are here! This place once was the old Dan's Diner and now it is Tios Mexican restaurant. The photos of our food doesn't even do justice on how flavorful it was. I hope to see this place packed in the near future once people realize how great the food is and who the people are that run it. I had 4 people in my group and didn't spend a whole $100 here. The prices are good. They also serve breakfast!

The food was really good, we will be back for an another visit. Prices were fair and they have some really nice specials. The breakfast menu looks phenomenal, it’s a good mixture of American and Mexican. The decor is a mixture of Mexican American design and the previous restaurant. They are still honoring the previous restaurant by leaving many of their items on display. The negative part was the service. The staff members were very friendly and polite but very slow and inattentive. That being said, go and try the food.
