★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We visited Din Tai Fung in NYC as a group of five — two adults and three kids — and had an amazing experience! Our server, Maya, was outstanding — attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. We went for lunch and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The food was incredible! The dumplings and wontons were perfection, the spicy noodles packed the right amount of heat, and the fried chicken noodles were delicious. The garlic string beans were the absolute standout — a must-order! And for dessert, you can’t miss the chocolate bun — it’s the perfect sweet ending to the meal.Overall, great service, delicious food, and a fun atmosphere for both adults and kids. We’ll definitely be back!
August 21 · Chandra PitamberDin Tai Fung in Midtown Manhattan delivers on every level. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance: spacious yet intimate. The food is nothing short of spectacular. Don’t miss the dumplings, the spicy wontons, fried rice, Shanghai rice cakes, noodles w/ spicy sauce, and cucumber salad. The chocolate xlb was good but a little overrated in my opinion. Service is friendly and quick, but make a reservation. A perfect spot for a fun, flavorful night out.
August 08 · MASHUKI work nearby and frequently pass this establishment, but I had no idea what an impressive experience awaited inside. As you descend the stairs, the space opens up into a beautifully expansive setting with multiple dining sections. We were fortunate to be seated near the glass window overlooking the kitchen, where we could watch the chefs skillfully prepare dumplings—a highlight of the experience. The ambiance, exceptional food, and attentive service all came together to create a truly memorable visit.
August 02 · vivi tsarouhasEverything was great!! The food, service and atmosphere were on point. Want to highlight my favorite which is pork ribs, wood ear mushrooms, crab soup dumplings and mango shaved ice to complete my meal. Recommended
August 14 · FRANK PINSETThe food was very good!! The soup dumplings and wonton soup were a huge hit. The favorite dish was the spicy noodles closely followed by the chocolate dumplings. Great service! Loved the wait list process. Everything was efficiently done and the servers were friendly.
