Choosing what to order at Le Petit Parisien can be a delightful dilemma, as the menu is filled with classic and appealing options. When it comes to sandwiches, the Jeanne D'Arc, with its blend of artichokes, roasted red peppers, and dijon mustard, is a highly recommended choice. Another popular option is the Le Parisien, a simple yet iconic sandwich with bone-in cooked ham and butter that perfectly showcases the quality of the baguette. For those with a more adventurous palate, the Louis XIV with foie gras and fig confit is a luxurious and memorable selection, although its price point reflects its specialty ingredients.
While the sandwiches are the main attraction, it would be a mistake to skip the other menu items. The French Croissant and Pain Au Chocolat are perfect for a classic breakfast or a sweet snack. The coffee menu is also a highlight, with many customers praising the quality of their brews. A cappuccino or a cold brew makes for a perfect pairing with any sandwich or pastry. It's worth noting that some customer experiences with pricing and bread quality can vary. As one reviewer mentioned, while some find the sandwiches to be on the smaller and more expensive side for their budget, others praise the "beautiful crust" and "incredibly balanced" flavor, feeling every bite was worth it.
The experience at Le Petit Parisien is all about authenticity and quality. It’s the kind of place that reminds you that a simple sandwich, when made with care and excellent ingredients, can be an extraordinary meal. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I cannot recommend. The sandwich is too small and too expensive. Hands down the worst baguette I have ever had. It was chewy like stale bread and had zero crust/crunch. Only half the sandwich was buttered. You would do well to feed your customers better because this is a hangry review that you completely deserve. Maybe I'd pay $8 for your trop petit sandwich instead of $15 if you improved the bread.
June 25 · Orin JamesThis place is amazing! Small Parisian pastry shop/deli that offers quick and delicious baguette sandwiches. Friendly staff + I got a Jeanne D'Arc Sandwich (w/ artichokes, dijon mustard, mushrooms, etc.) The baguette had a beautiful crust on the outside and the flavor was incredibly balanced. A large sandwich for $14 (tax included) was a bit expensive for my budget but I savored every bite of it.I wish that my baguette sandwich was a little more heated but it's good as it is.
August 08 · Ping Yen TsaiI used to live in the EV and order from this spot all of the time. The vegetarian sandwiches are insanely good and the baguettes are delicious.I walked in today asking for a pain au raisin pastry which I used to order consistently and was told that they have never had any pastries with raisins and the trio working laughed at me for even asking. Such an odd and uncomfortable interaction. Pain au raisin is still on your online menu and I've had it from this location at least 20 times over the years. This was enough to turn me off returning. It would have been so easy to just apologize that it's no longer on the menu instead of denying that it ever was and laughing.
March 30 · Tamara Jonesso so good and very good vibes. The guy working there is very sweet. Had the Brigitte bardot, French onion soup and an eclair. Very comforting meal.
January 23 · Asna RizwanAre the hours on Google wrong for this place ? I love the sandwiches but usually come between 5 and 6 and sometimes you're still open but it seems like at least half the time the place is closed. I'll have to give up soon if I never know whether it's going to be worth the trip or not.
