First shift staff member (aka the only member on staff to open) was an absolute delight to be helped by this morning. She was a polite blessing. Timing was quick, food was fresh, and she was so kind. Give her a raise❤️

There was important food on the menu that they didn't have in store. They couldn't even provide root beer floats which is what A&W's brand is built on. This wasn't a one time thing either, for the machine was allegedly broken without anyone knowing how to fix it when we went back about a week after.

Wednesday, a little before 8 I came through the drive thru. There was one car at the window ahead of me. The man said be right with you over the intercom. I waited about eight minutes and nobody came back to talk to me and get my order. So I left and went down the street to cane's Where I got good service. I was so disappointed as I had a real taste for your food.

I hadn't been to a Long John Silver's in years, so my comparison is to nostalgia. Now that my bias is established, I'll try to be as close to objective as I can.The best thing about this place was the service. That's a good and a bad thing. I'll explain. They took 5-10 minutes before taking my order while I was in plain view and really took about 5 minutes for a proper greeting of hi, we'll be right with you in a minute. One dude was doing most of the leg work at the window and at the counter, so I had to cut them some slack.Once they did take my order, I specifically said I haven't been here in years, I'm looking for the fish (best batter I've ever eaten cod in to this day). We settled on the #10 with shrimp. I expressed an interest and concern in the grilled shrimp, but the lady taking my order assured me it was good. There was more water than flavor in that shrimp lol. It must have been frozen and just not cooked long enough, because grilling generally saps the moisture out of things. Also the fries were soggy, old and underseasoned. The cod was super salty and crunchy if not a tad overdone, but aside from that it was what I came for. It was everything I wanted it to be. I ordered the white rice, but I didn't have the guts to try it after everything else.The redeeming quality about the service: they gave me what seemed to be an extra container of the shrimp. Which was sweet in the gesture (hence why I was generous on the service rating), but when something wasn't done well the last thing you want is more.

I was in there Friday around 7pm as a door dasher picking up an order. There was another dasher there. 1 customer waiting on an order about 3 cars in the drive thru line. Only 2 workers . 2 Amazing ladies they looked to be in their 50's. 1 was working the headset handling the drive thru while also working the food line preparing the food and packaging orders. The Other Lady was working the front counter while also working the food line and packaging orders. They were also dropping fresh food and double checking orders. A lady came in a little frustrated because she had been asked to pull around from the drive thru and she thought they forgot about her. They were actively working on her order it was just a large order. They were so Polite and they worked so well together. I go into restaurants all over the city. I see places with 6 to 8 workers handling the same situation and they don't do nearly as well. If every Company had a Team of workers like those 2 ladies with a few more workers...As a dasher I unassigned orders all the time at other Restaurants because I get frustrated waiting . I'm standing there watching a whole crew of people not doing their jobs. They are outside smoking , on their phones, standing around talking, or playing. I waited the few extra minutes for this Long John Silvers order because I was so impressed just watching how good these ladies were. Got my order, and it was kind of a big order. I watched them box it. Everything was fresh and Hot. Can't say enough good things about these Ladies. Other than some small Family owned places I go in Dashing... These 2 Ladies are the best teamwork I have ever seen . As a dasher I avoid some Restaurants because I know its gonna be all bad. I can say if I ever get an order from that Long John Silvers I will always accept it . As a dasher who has done over 5000 deliveries. You can imagine how many restaurants I have been in and have seen how they work. I don't go write reviews about everything but once again was so impressed by these ladies.
