Moustache is a celebration of honest, flavorful food, and a place where both locals and visitors can feel a sense of home and community.
The restaurant’s charm lies in its no-frills approach, focusing on what truly matters: exceptional food and a welcoming environment. The friendly and attentive staff, which some have praised for their genuine warmth, add to the overall positive experience. The welcoming nature of the place means it’s a perfect spot for solo diners, groups, and is noted as being "good for kids," making it a versatile destination for any occasion. Whether you're enjoying a meal at one of their indoor tables or taking advantage of the lovely "winter-friendly" outdoor seating, Moustache provides a comforting retreat from the city.
Moustache’s menu is inspired by traditional Lebanese bakeries and eateries, with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients. Their famous "pitza" creations and the "freshly baked pita" served piping hot from the oven are legendary among patrons. But the menu extends far beyond that, offering a wide array of mezze, kebabs, and specialty plates that have earned rave reviews. Moustache Pitza is celebrated for its commitment to classic flavors and for creating dishes that feel both comforting and wonderfully authentic.

Unique "Pitza" Creations: The menu's "Oven Baked" section, referred to as 'Pitza,' is a creative take on Middle Eastern flatbreads. The "Lahambajin Pitza" and "Moustache Pitza" are customer favorites, known for their thin, crunchy crust and flavorful toppings. This is a dish you won't find at a typical pizza place, making it a unique draw.

Patrons feel a sense of warmth and comfort from the moment they are seated, a feeling often lacking in big-city restaurants. This makes it a great spot for a relaxed and unhurried dining experience.
Excellent Mezze and Vegetarian Options: Moustache offers an impressive selection of "mezzeh," which are small plates perfect for sharing. Dishes like the "roasted cauliflower," "hummus," and "babaghanoush" are highly recommended. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This was a quaint little spot that full of life and every chair was full, that was a great sign. Once we were seated the host was very friendly, we order 3 entrees, 2 glasses of wine to start. Must say this was the best Moussaka I’ve ever had, really I can’t rave enough about it!!! The Chicken Pitza with lemon, garlic, red pepper, scallion, and parsley was also very fresh and tasty. The Merguez lamb sausage plate was also delicious, would also rave it was also the best I’ve ever had anywhere. For desert we slit the Muhalabia which is a milk flan with a rasberry reduction, this also was divine with some Turkish Coffee. This Lebanese food was worth returning I really enjoyed Moustache it’s a New York fit 100%
May 13 · Gothic HangmanIt’s a nice cozy restaurant with tasty Mediterranean food options… the pita bread served is so fresh and light, paired with hummus, muhammara and labneh… the kebabs and falafel is tasty and nice dessert.. it’s definitely one of the great options for Mediterranean..
July 27 · Torrence Innocent Daniel'sMoustache Pitza is a traditional Lebanese restaurant. The ingredients are all incredibly fresh and all of the plates well balanced: for example, the hummus had the right amount of tahini for my taste.I was served by a very professional waiter and assisted in ordering by Mr. Maher. He really serves and recommends dishes with the passion of a household cook.In my opinion, one of the best restaurants to check out in NYC. You will feel at home, no matter where you come from!~Alberto
May 11 · PIXELHad the merguez sandwich - the lamb sausage is lightly seasoned so I didn’t get as strong a flavor as I’d have liked but the bread was quite delicious. Heavy on the sauce here. Lunch time crowd is slow so there’s lots of seating.
March 08 · Rovik RobertLoved the atmosphere and we really enjoyed every dish we had here! The desserts really stood out and I highly recommend the flan and rice pudding. Will definitely come back!
