White

A very fruity Chardonnay, with peach and vanilla on the nose, with fig, peach and oak on the palate. Fresh, but quite soft, not very acidic, with a medium finish. The color is quite light.

This medium-bodied, barrel-fermented wine offers light, toasted oak aromas, attractive baked apple flavors and accents of butter and vanilla. Good balance keeps it going sip after sip, revealing spice and almond nuances.

Alluring aromatics lead into an intense expression of the Pinot Grigio grape with a generously structured mouthfeel. On the palate, fruit-forward flavors of juicy white peach, soft melon, crisp apple and floral honeysuckle lead to a crisp, refreshing finish with a subtle undertone of Meyer lemon.

The 2017 harvest came early in California, and was characterized by lower yields of exceptional grapes. Winter rains enriched the soil, while the summer’s late-season heat spike led to an earlier harvest.
