SoCal Kitchen + Bar Reviews
Great service, location was nice to sit with the windows open on a nice day. Prices were really reasonable. Burger was overcooked but decent flavor. Fries were really soggy. Chicken sandwich was also decent but the coleslaw slaw was really nice. Drinks were on the pricey end comparatively. Tres leches was good but parts were still frozen. Ambiance and service over food.
Aug 03, 2025 · beth dersWe're riding the OTET and are staying at a B&B near High Street. We looked at several restaurants and decided to eat here because it wasn't loud inside and the menu looked great. We had a waiter in training, Collin, who was very good. The brussel sprouts were a little tough, maybe ask that they cook them a little longer. Sauce was delicious.Shrimp bisque was delicious. We had the salmon and the Thai peanut chicken bowl. Both delicious. We would eat here again.
May 22, 2025 · Lois MartinWe were here on our 25th wedding anniversary. Our server was Satia. She was the best server we had in the short North. The drinks, food and service were out standing!
Jul 28, 2025 · Robin noWe had a good dinner overall, server was super nice just forgot somethings she said she would do no big deal. The ribeye came cooked correctly but was very tiny the thinnest ribeye I’ve ever seen, understandable it’s not a steakhouse. Snapper was good they split our food up for us so we could share it all that was nice. Sushi good, oysters were good. Everyone is pretty crammed next to each other so a little tough back in the back to have a conversation of any nature. Over all it was good.
Feb 17, 2025 · J HAtmosphere was beautiful! Very modern with plenty of fun decor. Service felt rushed and over bearing for the first half, and then nearly nonexistent towards the end. We sat with plates stacked (see last photo) for nearly 20 minutes waiting on a check to leave. It almost felt like we were being held hostage lol. Food was mid, oysters were good and fresh. Sushi was nearly flavorless and left much to desire. Cannot speak on the cocktails nor wine as we stuck with water. Cute handwritten card for our anniversary which was much appreciated. Was hoping for a window seat and was sat in the furthest back portion of the restaurant, which felt cramped and dark. Complimentary dessert for our anniversary celebration which was also sweet.
