steak frites
★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Great food and ambiance, I’m looking forward to becoming a regular
July 24 · Abhik MahakulVery friendly service, good food, and BYO until their get liquor license (with a liquor store nearby). Rooting for them to get all their licenses and permits so they can fry and make steak frites, could be a great addition to the neighborhood! One piece of feedback - turn down the lights inside to make the environment more cozy.
August 17 · K. S.I really love the ambiance and the food, owner was really nice, definitely coming back! The seats are the bar were really nice too !
July 29 · Xavier HergSorry to be breaking the ice and writing the first negative review but someone has to do it. Unless people are more honest I don’t see how this place will make it through the year. First with the positive. The food was tasty. Service was OK but clearly they haven’t found their rhythm yet. Decor is not good. It feels soulless and like someone bought a French brasserie kit out of a catalog. The dining room has an aesthetic of a hotel owned by a private equity company. It doesn’t help that locals will be comparing to Grainne which had so much soul and personality. The menu itself feels like something is missing. Maybe it’s the fact that there is no steak frites when there’s a comically large sign that says Steak Frites inside the restaurant. And please turn down the lights, they are too bright. I hope to see this place do better because it’s in such a special spot.
August 09 · cancelina jolieWanted to like this place. We need a good French spot in the neighborhood! But the food is really quite bad. Especially for the price. My foie gras was not seared at all and had a weird color. Looked like a student plate for $28! And the French onion soup had a weird sourness to it. Maybe Worcestershire sauce? The fries were cold and wrinkly like it was made from frozen supermarket brand. The kids burger steak had zero seasoning/taste.Really unfortunately. Staff was lovely butHope they work on the food.
