★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I never leave bad reviews—unless both my taste buds and my mood are simultaneously offended. My friend and I came for dinner around 8 p.m. There were only two other tables, and they were nearly finished. It was our first time here, so we weren’t familiar with the menu and took an extra minute to decide. The cashier got impatient and walked off to do something else. After we finally placed our order, it took about 20 minutes before we even heard the kitchen start preparing our food. The dishes looked decent when they arrived, but the first bite was overwhelmingly salty. A few more bites, and the saltiness turned bitter. The same thing for my friend’s dish.I had paid extra to add shrimp, but after digging through the dish, I found only 5 or 6 tiny pieces the size of a fingernail. We were starving after shopping and could’ve easily finished a whole bowl, but we barely managed a few bites…Never coming back!
July 16 · Owen WenVery pleasant discovery in between Little Italy and China Town. I really liked that you can either choose preset meals, salads, noodles etc or you can compose your own which is amazing. The staff is very friendly and explains how it works very well. It tasted delicious. I really enjoyed my Ube drink too.
May 20 · Alex Fabnice place for a casual meal with friends, coworkers, and acquaintances. it feels like an elevated fast casual restaurant. there is a good selection of options for someone who doesn’t want to build their own bowl. i tried the chili peanut noodles and they were served with udon. good flavor and the sauce was thick so the dish was pretty heavy but that just means i could have it again for another meal. i would come back and build my own next time.
May 04 · Lori LamWe got two different woks and both were SOOOO SALTY they turned bitter after a few bites. Absolutely not edible. We left right away, such a huge waste of money. What’s worse, We got shrimp as the protein, which was +$6.5, and there was no shrimp in sight (as you can see in the pic), only two tiny pieces after digging. The service was bad, the waiter walked away as I’m ordering??? We also waiting 25 minutes for these two simple woks… Don’t go to this place period.
July 15 · Celine WenThis place used to be great but the staff and management might have changed. Ordered 2 peanut noodles and asked for additional hot sauce on the side. The server asked us if we need hot sauce on the noodle too and I did say a ‘yes’. But they gave me peanut sauce on the side and the noodles were drenched in just peanut sauce without any hot sauce. No veggies/ mushroom just grated carrots. The Korean fried chicken smelled of old oil and batter was uncooked. Overall not tasty at all, as before. The dine-in was closed 45 mins before the closing time so could not check the takeaway. Hopefully they upgrade the spice level and preparation. Disappointed!
