This place is an absolute gold mine, and now I understand why—it’s always packed! Pro tip: come in groups of two for the best chance at quick seating.Our server, Vasilis, was outstanding. He gave us amazing recommendations that made our meal even better. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely great at what he does—management, please give this guy a raise!Delicious food, lively atmosphere, and excellent service. Carnegie Diner & Cafe definitely lives up to the hype.

I recently visited Carnegie Diner & Cafe and overall had a very memorable experience—both good and bad.Let’s start with the food: I ordered the pork chop, which was excellent—tender, juicy, and flavorful. The chicken wings were a standout as well—crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, and packed with delicious seasoning. The grilled chicken salad was fresh and nicely balanced, and the French fries were hot and crispy, just the way I like them. You could tell everything was freshly prepared and made with care.The restaurant was very busy and full, which shows how popular it is. The atmosphere was lively, and service was still friendly despite the crowd. It was clear that many people come here to enjoy hearty portions and good quality diner food.However, I do have to mention something that truly shocked me. While enjoying my meal, I noticed cockroaches crawling out from under the bench where I was sitting. It was a deeply unpleasant surprise and ruined part of an otherwise great experience. Cleanliness should always be a top priority, especially in a food establishment. I strongly urge management to address this immediately with proper pest control and a thorough cleaning to ensure a safe and hygienic dining environment for all guests.I truly enjoyed the food and would love to return, but only after I feel confident that the cleanliness issue has been taken seriously and resolved.

The family absolutely loved this place! We stopped in for some breakfast and were immediately greeted. A table was already available for us and we were seated quickly. Our server was very attentive and our food came out within less than 10 minutes! Yes, less than 10 minutes in a full restaurant with our party of 5. The Country omelette with the sour dough toast was very hearty and filling. Blueberry pancakes were also out of this world! Everyone in our party was raving about their dish and we left satisfied and happy with the food and service. This diner was well run. We will DEFINITELY be back!!

We were greeted right away and given the choice of indoor or outdoor seating—we chose the patio and really enjoyed it. Drinks came quickly, and the food was delicious and well-prepared. Service was friendly, though when it got busy, refills and small requests like extra syrup or condiments took a bit longer. On the positive side, we were impressed watching the host handle a customer issue with professionalism. Overall, great food and atmosphere—just expect slightly slower service during busy times.
