Like any well-established eatery, Happy House Chinese Restaurant has garnered a range of experiences from its local patrons. The diverse opinions reflect the challenges and triumphs of a busy Chinese restaurant catering to a wide customer base. Many customers appreciate the convenience, the array of familiar dishes, and the potential for a satisfying meal.
One customer, for instance, specifically highlighted their experience with the lunch combos, noting they were "really cheap with a good size of dishes and a soda can." This patron ordered the "Kung Pao Triple Delight which had chicken, beef and shrimp" and found the service to be "fast" and the "room clean." They did, however, express a concern about "too much salt and additives in the King Pao sauce," which caused an "uncomfortable" feeling.
On the other hand, another reviewer described a much less positive encounter, mentioning that they received "2 wrong dishes out of 4" for a takeout order, including a "broccoli dish" instead of General Tso's and a "rice curry" instead of a garlic dish, which they deemed the "worst thing I ever had in my entire life." This individual expressed disappointment, especially as they were giving the restaurant a "second chance after the rat infestation problem a few years back," ultimately concluding it was "a complete waste of money" and that they "won't go back there anymore." This review also stated the "food was mediocre, and the service was even worse." These contrasting experiences illustrate the varied perceptions and outcomes diners may encounter, emphasizing the importance of understanding the full spectrum of local feedback.

Happy House Chinese Restaurant Reviews
I went there for a takeout. They gave me 2 wrong dishes out of 4. I ordered a general tso, they gave me a broccoli dish and ordered a garlic dish, but they gave me a rice curry, which was the worst thing I ever had in my entire life. I didn't find out until I was ready to eat my dinner 2 hours later. I wanted togive them a second chance after the rat infestation problem a few years back but didn't work. it was a complete waste of money.I won't go back there anymore. The food was mediocre, and the service was even worse
Mar 16, 2025 · Y SamiI came to this American Chinese restaurant for lunch. Their lunch combos were really cheap with a good size of dishes and a soda can. I ordered their Kung Pao Triple Delight which had chicken, beef and shrimp. However, I was feeling that there was too much salt and additives in the King Pao sauce, which made my mouth feel uncomfortable. Service was fast. Their room was clean. WiFi was not available.
Mar 14, 2025 · Vincent LamI ordered the garlic chicken lunch special. It comes with a can of pop. This is the best Garlic Chicken I've ever had in a restaurant. It's got a bit of spice to the meal and it was just perfect.I just happen by into this place.I've seen it before but never had time today.I will make time to come back here and bring some friends too.I added on the egg roll for $1.50The egg roll was cooked to perfection, and not over cooked and not greasy.Again excellent, everything made fresh to order.I need to mention that the vegetable's were fresh and crunchy, made with freshly prepared veggies not from a can or frozen.Service was impeccable and friendly.
May 23, 2024 · suncheckDid not receive chicken in sweet and sour chicken… instead I got all breading. My honey chicken was hard as a rock and gray/ black and some was translucent 🤢 threw out food, will not order here again
Jan 09, 2025 · Heather ClarkI ordered delivery through Grubhub tonight. Ordered Mongolian Chicken with Fried rice and only broccoli and green beans for veggies. I've done it this way for at least the last 3-4 orders and it's never been an issue. I have the receipts and order history to prove it. I've always received my food correctly.Tonight though... tonight they called my husband and said no substitutions or changes. Fine, whatever. I'll handle what little bit of veggies are in there I don't like. But this... what I just got? This is BS and unprofessional. I literally received an entire to go container FULL of onions. I have half a small tupperware bowl of chicken from it. Very little. This is completely uncalled for. I would've understood some onions but this...We also didn't get our spicy wonton appetizer. We've been ordering from Happy House for YEARS. Literal YEARS! And never had an experience like this. Very disappointed in you tonight.
