For locals in Ohio, particularly those in the Columbus area, the Subway at 350 W 3rd Ave presents a convenient option for a quick, customizable meal. The core appeal of Subway—its focus on fresh ingredients and the ability to build your own sandwich—is certainly available here, making it suitable for individuals who prefer to control what goes into their food. If you're looking for a fast lunch that isn't a traditional burger or fried fare, a Subway sub can often hit the spot with its emphasis on vegetables and lean protein options.
However, it is essential for local users to be aware of the recent customer feedback provided. Several reviews highlight concerns regarding staffing levels, service speed, and inconsistent adherence to stated closing hours. Patrons have reported long wait times, particularly when only one employee is managing a busy store, and instances of the doors being locked well before the official closing time of 9:00 PM. This inconsistency in service and operational hours could be frustrating for those on a tight schedule or planning a late-evening visit. While there is praise for a specific friendly and long-term employee, the overall picture suggests that the franchise may face operational challenges that could impact the customer experience.
Therefore, while the menu offers the familiar Subway variety that many Ohioans appreciate, it would be prudent for locals to consider visiting during less busy times or to call ahead to confirm current operating procedures, especially if planning a late arrival or relying on online orders. This particular location's suitability hinges on managing expectations regarding potential service delays and confirming accessibility during stated hours. It remains a viable option for those seeking the classic Subway experience but might require a bit more flexibility and foresight.

Subway Reviews
On March 20, 2025, I had a very bad experience, and I will never go back, even though I am a faithful customer. I decided to order my food on DoorDash because I get off work really hungry and tired. I went to Subway thinking I would get my food and go home, but when I arrived around 8:45 p.m., 15 minutes before closing, the door was locked. Before I reached the door, I saw an employee let in a gentleman wearing a red hoodie, who appeared to be of Hispanic descent. I knocked on the glass door, and the employee looked at me but did not open the door. I assume she decided not to open the door because she was too lazy to make another sub. I do not know this employee's name, but I know she often brings her son to work with her. I went to complain to the manager the next day, but she did not offer me a free sandwich. She just looked at me as if I was in the wrong. I do not understand this location; they need to fire the whole staff. I hope the owner sees this review because I still want the sub I paid for on DoorDash.
Mar 22, 2025 · Vincent TownsendUpdate: From 3 stars to 1, bc this franchise owner must be cheap. Came here on a Sunday afternoon for the first time in years. Only one girl running the whole place, working her butt off. There were 10 people in line the whole time I was there. She was exhausted but doing great, no one in line was happy waiting 30 minutes for a sub. Cheap owner needs to pay a couple more employees to be there. Expecting one person to run a busy store is INSANE. Disrespectful to your employees and your customers.I've gone to this location several times over the years. It's fine for a subway. There's a woman with dark hair that has worked there awhile, and she's great and friendly every time I've seen her.But tonight I got to Subway at 8:42 and their door was locked. It was someone else working I'd never seen before. I think arriving 18 minutes before close is pretty reasonable. No point in coming after work anymore if they're gonna be locking the doors early.
Jul 23, 2025 · JAlways good but the last couple times - six inch subs are pretty short. Can't fit the meatballs in a row like on a real six inch. Today's orders were all toasted but portions of the bread were really hard.
Oct 31, 2020 · Amy PetruskevichYou would think they could atleast get your sub right when it has three things on it. Forgot my PMV…who eats a dry sub. Horrible workers
Jun 08, 2025 · Makenzie BushTwo workers inside. One sitting charging her phone. One cleaning up. Sign on door says back in 15 minutes. It’s 8:30 at night and they close at 9pm. Guess there is no service even when there are workers and it’s during business hours.
